Meh, those weren't Ntilikina level passes though. Sure he dunks like Zion. Yeah his shot looks really good. But his passes to teammates look like run-of-the-mill passes, so...

This is funny, but the most interesting thing to me about it was how it showed just how special/unique DSJ's hops are.
Trae Young, a similar sized person playing the same position, playfully impersonates him, and even though he's just joking he gets stuffed by the rim on the dunk attempt.
DSJ breaks dunks out just because, like he's a 6'7" wing in a layup line or something, and I'm already jaded by it.

Fizdale, around game 50: "I'm still trying different combinations to see what works"

Most exciting time to be a Knicks fan since Patrick got traded?
Linsanity and the 2012-13 season were exhilarating but other than that, I have few positive memories.

Who knows. I feel like Fizdale in a lot of ways basically executes the desire of Perry and Mills. Do they totally dictate the rotation? Of course not. But I think they make it pretty clear what their preferences are.
In other words, if DSJr clearly outplays Payton (I think he will), he'll start. If it's even? Payton is getting the nod.

Maybe I'm being a little negative.
There's no reason NOT to start DSJr if it's close. I guess Payton still has some "upside" but seems like DSJr has way more untapped potential.
I figure the Knicks want to mostly split DSJr and Trier up, not because they can't be good together, but to ensure there is a strong driving player in the game all the time.
While I guess DSJr is more successful being "on the ball" I don't think he's wildly ball dominant, but I wonder if the Knicks would rather the offense runs more through RJ and therefor put Payton with him in the starting lineup?
I think DSJr and RJ compliment each other enough, and Payton or Frank pair well with Trier, not that substitutions are en masse.
Should be interesting to see how lineups go and what Fiz does.
