I've said I could go either way on an AD deal primarily because Perry has cleaned up the mess so well virtually any path taken from here has viability, but if AD comes here, hooooo boy is that exciting. I'm of the firm belief that he's a top-5 player in the NBA, he's a 2-way guy, and he's essentially in his pre-prime at the time of acquisition.

Perry really has made this so that there is very little way to take a wrong turn this offseason.

So Griffin has pretty much set the bar for a package that no one team which is being rumored even has the all star and what team with an all star is going to be the third wheel in the trade that gives up their star but not get AD?

Only for the fact that he is an incredible player that I don't want to see the Knicks just bow out of this nonsense but at the same time I don't want to see them give up the massive package it would take to get him.

If the Knicks hadn't traded KP they might have the best package without giving up the farm but then they'd still be stuck in cap hell with Timmy still around.

Perry just needs to stick around in the conversation so it drives up the price for any potential eastern conference teams who might make the trade.

Of course but no one team has what they want. Hence they are looking for a third team to facilitate this trade.

It's all good. I'd actually like at least one of the young PG's to stay. One not named Mudiay, that is.
