while that is true Knox plays on the perimeter as well and he is an atrocious defender...Randle has no business being as bad as he is on defense...he just needs to care more especially if we want him to be a lead dog.
Kanter is a 5 and Randle is a stretch 4, Mitch will make up for some of his lack of defense and Randle can compensate for Mitch lack of a post game with his offense, you can’t play Kanter at the 4 with Mitch because they’re both centers who he can’t shoot at all, Randle would fit better
I'm excited to see Randle and Portis at the 4 with Mitch at the 5. You got two guys in Randle and Portis who can stretch the floor (Portis more then Randle but both still can) and Mitch blocking everything is sight at the rim. Taj also can bring the defense so i actually like that in the 4 main big men, we have two defenders and two very talented offensive players.
I'll be real curious to see how Fiz plays the 4 of them and not only them but Perry and Mills actually made Fiz's job really hard compared to what he had to coach last year. They've gave him challenges at every position and gave every player competition for starting gigs and to be the next man up at each position. Fiz has to actually coach this year and we're gonna learn a lot about if this guy can coach or not. We know players love ya Fiz but now can you not only coach a team with good young talent and still have each player liking you when they aren't starting or even next man up.
