Yes, Dolan is an issue but he is NOT the ultimate reason for our troubles.

Our problems are:

- A Losing Mentality: Nobody wants to join a loser and expect to be the magic bullet that turns us into a winner overnight. That's a lot of pressure and unrealistic.

- The Media: NY press is fickle and can be a turn off for players not used to the scrutiny.

- The Fans: We are regularly our own worst enemy. We sometimes show entitlement and EXPECT the #1 draft pick or FA to come to us as if it should drop out of the sky simply because we're NY and want it. Then, "IF" we get it, we eat them alive once here. Players are paying attention and they see this.


We can't continue tanking for this or that college player, because that's an unending cycle. We HAVE to add pieces along the way that makes us respectable and shows we're on a winning trajectory. We also need to make the playoffs, which is part of the development of our existing young talent. Then and only then will the top talent in the league be willing to take a chance on us.

You've been pushing this awful narrative for years.

Newsflash bud, other New York teams have won plenty of games with the big bad media and the big bad fans.

The only ones who haven't are ones run by awful owners like the Wilpons and Dolan.

Don't insult my intelligence by trying to pass blame from the worst in sports to the fans of all people.
