1.) It would take Dame himself to demand a trade because Portland sure as heck won't initiate to just trade him without a trade demand. They fully intend to keep him for his whole career whether they are contending or not because he's become a bball face, but an icon for the city, the state.

2.) And it would take Dame to specifically demand Knicks as destination because I don't see us having best assets to offer Portland otherwise

Then, it would take Randle + IQ + Obi + 2 FRP + FFRP for Portland to maybe even consider.
