We could do better than Lowry for the TPMLE. Non-starting quality PG’s are not a priority for teams to pay compared to 7 footer. People in their prime or close to it would accept that money.

Doubt that we could get Tyus Jones for the taxpayer MLE, but Monte Morris would be interesting especially on a 1+1 with the 2nd year being a team option

I guess not, he signed with the Suns for the minimum.

Plumlee would have been nice for us with the minimum.

A potential underrated signing at the PG position could be Jordan Mclaughlin (last of the Wolves).

Shot 48%fg, 47% from 3, 15.5 PER indicates he's extremely efficient, had a BPM of 4.2 (2.9 DBPM, 1.4 OBPM) which for a guy that averaged only 11 mpg is pretty damn impressive to say the least, ORating of 135, DRating of 109, 62.8%efg.

another thing to note...Kessler is CAA...I'm sure his reps weren't happy with how Utah messed with his value last year...giving John Collins and Olynyk roles over him. If Jazz+Hardy really want to go with a fully 5 out lineup like he was in BOS...Utah might try to cash in on Kessler soon.

How soon IDK...but don't downplay Duece a main piece in this deal...he had a above avg TS% he is a plus defender and in less than 20 mins he avg over 8 ppg and 41% from 3.
You can def see him being a very productive 28-30 minute a nice piece in the 12-13 ppg range with +2 3's a game over 40% from 3 and good defense...those players are very valuable...

then factor in his contract...he is a super valuable piece. Typically I wouldn't want to include him at all but we are in a tough spot with our big man depth and mitch's injury history.

I also think there are some vet PG's on the market we can probably hold down the for a year until Kolek is ready.

Kessler makes sense in a lot of ways here. A lot. He has potential to be an even BETTER fit to Thibs system than IHART was. IHart might get more burn offensively in his role with the Thunder than here.

Depends on how much they value McBride.

Utah seems to favor playing 5 out and McBride as a 40% 3 and D guy fits them well. Contract extremely favorable as well.

If we moved Duece in a trade he would easily bring back at least one 1st round pick if not more...if Utah doesn't want him and just wants picks I'm sure we can accommodate. For example DEN I'm sure Denver would die for a POA defender and 3 pt shooter on that salary like Duece...any contending team could plug duece into there rotation right now.

As much as it would be smart to play Mitch less and expose him to less injuries there is absolutely negative chance he will play 16 mpg when healthy - and if he does he will not be happy about it.

Richards also haven't proven he's a starter in the league. He should come off the bench for now if we get him.

in terms of a plug and play center that fits what we like to do he couldn't be more ideal...factor in his cheap salary that we can fit also not many other more "ideal" targets.

He has his flaws...not a good FT shooter and doesn't provide much if any spacing. Less of a playmaker than Ihart for sure out of the short roll. He also isn't going to be guarding the perimeter but we already have multiple elite perimeter defenders for that.

In terms of rim protection there aren't many better.

They are over hyping him.

He’s a back up rim protecting Center. He might not even beat Sims out as the backup Center, but as a center rotation Mitch/Sims/Kessler would be a good bounce back from losing IHart.

I get it but we need some offense at the center position.

I like Kessler but re-thinking it now - the center position would be manned by 2 guys who don't move the ball and don't really do much on offense. Kessler is a better offensive player than Mitch but otherwise they both clog the paint.

What we need is a guy who can space the floor on offense. A decent shooter at backup PF/C. Not unlike our guy Luke Kornet.

Not every team has great defenders at all 5 positions down the roster. Some bad individual defenders can be masked in a great team defense.

Not sure how much interest utah will have in Deuce though. They already have Keyonte George and just drafted Isaiah collier who they were reportedly willing to trade up for. Also still have sexton, Clarkson
