You get what you put out in the world, and in this case "the world" is NYC.
The way some of these guys go out of their way to disrespect and antagonize fanbases, and then expect professional treatment and respect at all other times is funny. Especially when NYC has ridden for him before (The Decision, and he clowned them in the aftermath), and this current issue is on some petty bird stuff with someone who isn'e even affiliated with the Knicks anymore.
I'm cool holding the L at this point - basketball-wise we deserved it; the Knicks choked the game away. But I'll be waiting over here silently - a week, a month, a year, multiple years - for the karmic turn on Lebron.
