I love the Davion Mitchell pick. I'd pass on BJ Boston though. I know people gonna come at me for this but I think he's a lot like Cam Reddish. I mean 36% from the field and 30% from 3 is just extremely bad. Give me Ayo Dosunmo over him.

I’m kinda torn cuz I agree with you on Boston. I don’t really like him at all but in the 20’s? it might be worth it to swing for the fences. It’s not a good sign when you put on worse number than Knox in college. I don’t even really like the Cam comparison cuz he at least moved well on the court. BJ moves around like a hunchback like Obi but an hunchback that’s also too lanky for his body. But at the same time, he was highly touted out of high school for a reason. It might be worth the risk to bring him in as a long term development guy. Maybe Johnny Bryant can get something out of him that calipari couldn’t?

On top of all of those issues, he is actually much rawer as a scorer than he's supposed to be. I don't see much shot creation by him at all. Like recently he had that 20 point game and people were praising him... i was left unimpressed. Most of his points came off spot up 3's. His handle just isn't that good. There's a reason why I am higher on someone like Terrence Clarke over Boston who was also highly touted out of high school. At least he shown flashes of being a really good scorer in college with his smooth handle as well as playmaking before he got hurt and his FG% is not nearly as bad (43%). They both even share the same measurements as well.

I guess taking Boston in the 20's isn't completely awful but honestly I'd still pass. I feel like there's plenty of other better players to take in the same range imo.

Knock off Australian LaMelo. Big guard that I think he looks like an nba athlete and has great vision. Not really a scorer/ shooter but apparently in the last 7 games or so he’s been hitting a decent amount of threes. Hopefully he keeps this up cuz if he’s a shoot we should consider him with the Dallas pick. The jumbo guard is the archetype.

You’re not wrong at all. I looked at his game log and Boston has had only like 5 good games this year. I probably wouldn’t draft him either but I don’t think I’ll get too bent out of shape if they swing for the fences with an alleged “high upside guy.” I’m just starting my late round research now, so I’m sure I’ll find someone else I like more.

Been feeling that way too... I think Mitchell is a more dynamic shot creator than Butler. Of course beggars can't be choosers and I'd love for the knicks to get one of them lol

For the same reason that at my age I have show an id when I buy wine or booze. Or you have to show your ID to TSA even though you have already checked in for your plane ticket. Rules are rules. Especially when we worry about security breaches at highly visited sites like MSG. I feel zero sympathy that Ewing was asked to show a pass as long as everyone was also asked to show a pass and he wasn't targeted.

Also if Ewing loves this organization as much as we do maybe this should be a private matter between him and Dolan who he has a relationship with not something to blast publicly, when for 20 plus years his former team has a horrible perception as a dysfunctional franchise across the league.

If RJ was coming out in this draft, I’d think he’d be on the same level as Kuminga and Suggs. Cunningham, Mobley, and Green are definitely better than him though.

Barrett's most lethal offensive move is a **** layup. Lol.

Return to New York Knicks
