If you cannot hold a 7 run lead you have no damn business pitching in the major leagues.

I’ll wait til we get a reliever but damn, between the Phillies, Mets, and Padres, the price for these guys keeps rising

How do you have a pitcher with an ERA over 6 at the top of your rotation in the middle of a pennant race and feel no urgency to upgrade your pitching?

Cashman is gonna go down in history as the GM who wasted Aaron Judge's prime

Per multiple sauces, all star closer David Bednar is close to being dealt to us.

We still need another starting pitcher unless the mindset is that Gil is gonna resume where he left off last season

And Stanton just broke Tampa Bay's 1st base man's wrist. That looked bad

Welp, here comes the tarp. I barely managed to escape a tornado on my way home so I'm not surprised this one is getting called.

It’s getting into mid season and the Mets are beginning to find out that Clay Holmes is trash. Wait til they move him to the bullpen lol

ALL STAR?!? Wow. That's gonna cost something.

Knowing Hal and Cashman, they'll roll the dice on Gil.

So we added cheap bats and We are getting Gil back. Looking to get an all star closer.

2:55 to the deadline.

Well Cashman sure did a great job replacing one pile of trash with another.

Why are Yankee fans obsessed with Alcantara? Where are we going to find the offense to compensate for 2 pitchers with 6+ ERA's in our rotation?

They will gamble on Gil. He's due back soon. Maybe Sunday. What pitcher would you go after?

I would go for relievers, and wait until the offseason for Skenes even though I doubt we'll have enough to acquire him.

Looks like the main piece was #8 prospect C Rafael Flores. He has been nice in the minors this season but its fine.

The Marlins wanted Spencer Jones from us for Alcantara. Not that I wanted him here, but this is another example of a team trying to fleece the Yankees at the deadline.

It hasn't been finalized yet. Medical clearance I believe. Would be a good move if it happens.

Gil pitches on Saturday. Fingers crossed that this kid can pitch at a high level.
