Or confusing them so much by hiding Towns on offense.

We've reached a point now, where we're ignoring fouls on Knicks players to push "soft" agendas after a win. Truly the darkest of timelines, we used to be a society.
Could be gassing up Brunson, or og, or mikal's defense, or deuce giving us good bench mins, or if he wants to complain the 3rd foul on kat was susspect but instead he wants to call kat softand post horford highlights.
We need you, like the Cs need Tatum, to be better meLo.
The NBA has ruled that this was marginal hugging.

is that other piece a guy that is currently shooting 19% from 3 in the playoffs?
even when KAT is not super effective he also has to be guarded at all times opening up a lot for Brunson and others in the paint. That alone holds value. Kinda show why our metrics are much higher with him on the floor than off. We are a NET 43 pts better with KAT on the floor than off. The only other player in the playoffs higher than that is Josh Hart who has been amazing NET 73 pts.

Kat Mikal alliance going strong

The Celtics had him boxed up all season on offense, he picked the perfect time to have his breakout game. He's scored on better defenders (Camara, Amen, Dort etc) all year, so it never really made sense why he couldn't get going against them.
All we need from him (or Mikal) is to outplay Jaylen Brown, because Brunson can go head to head with Tatum in production.
All we gotta do is put in simple actions to free them up or switch their primary defenders.
Yeah crunch time is Brunson 1 v 1 time. I have no issue with it. But getting Wingstop open looks and driving opportunities throughout the game would make this offense so much more explosive and it rewards them for their hard work defensively
I would surrender a kidney just to see Josh screening off ball for the rest of the playoffs

Being 5th best record in the nba now leading the defending champs in the 2nd round is actual reality though meanwhile yall insisted all year that we would suck, sham bailed for 6 months all because Mitch has permanently lost his starting job forever and yall been crashing out at the Knicks success all year
You’ve been saying to trade Brunson all year for Lamelo. The audacity of you trying to run a victory lap
Thread turning into the rumble, I forgot all about rob being on Greenie's LaMelo train to hell.

Whatever though, we won. That’s what’s important.
i don't think anybody here is saying kat had a good game. he's had 2 subpar outings in a row now though, so hopefully he's due for at least the mean

Kat Mikal alliance going strong

Here are 3 reasons why:
The Boston Celtics’ clean bill of health lasted less than a half.
Big man Kristaps Porzingis exited Game 1 of the Celtics’ second-round playoff series against the New York Knicks on Monday with 7:34 remaining in the second quarter and did not return.
