He was "85%" but didn't play in the playoffs.

You want to give him 14 mil in his third year of the contract?

I ADORE the kid but come on. This has Isiah written all over it.

Then melo says how bad that contract is like nobody knows the numbers and people want him to say sorry? Give me a break that's 100%, that's the only way hou had a chance, give lin video game money.

Already NBA players are coming out and saying Lin's contract is ridiculous.

Lin majored in economics at Harvard but I think he screwed this one up.

Knicker23 wrote:haha this is such bs. You're looking for reasons to complain and blame and Melo will fit the bill..

His comment was a knock against Houston offering a poison pill and putting the knicks in a bad spot. Did he say "Lin is not worth that money man, that's too much" -- it's not the same.. Him giving high praise to Lin, with Dolan already having chosen not to match, would not only be worthless it would come across poor to fans......

Lin took NY for granted from a financial standpoint and it seems it has backfired.

It's not just the comment. Melo needs to speak up. That's what stars do. Kobe threw a fit when the Lakers traded Odom; that's what Melo needs to do to keep my loyalty.

stop it. melo doesn't NEED to do anything if he's not sold on Lin. Lin's a big boy getting a fat contract. if the Knicks FO don't want him, he'll be fine.

I find this hilarious.

So who wants to give me a rundown on how this is Carmelo Anthony's fault?

Enjoy Lin, although you will still be tanking for the #1 pick

I don't care about losing him. I'm not ready to see all the "fans" here bitching about it.

Oh..... What'd he say?

Hahn: teammates looked at Lin with a crooked eye last year because of his over-confidence, perceived lack of humility.

Sounds like the Dolan coverup machine is in full-effect.

Isola and SAS just mentioned what I stated in my last post. I believe Felton will come in motivated and ready to play. SAS suggesting that he may also be slimmer... I really don't think this is as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Felton never wanted to leave and will make the best out of this second chance.

Did we forget that Stat played his best ball w/ felton??

Grunwald getting raped on another sign-and-trade.

So nice to have just one guy under 25 on the roster (who has a blown out knee) and only two first round picks in the next 4 years.

Grunwald seems to be overpaying on almost all of our trades.

Half of these will probably end up going bankrupt; meanwhile, Lin will laughing all the way to the bank.

Maybe by that 3rd year Felton would have gotten so fat that we can splice him into two skinny versions of Felton and play them both for the price of one.

He said he couldn't run, cut, or jump and would not have been able to contribute. People with an agenda are too stuck on the actual number. He didn't use a knee-measuring device that pumps out a percentage of how good his knee is.

So maybe he should've shut his mouth when asked how close was he to returning. If Melo, STAT or any other NY Star athlete would have mad such a statement they would have been killed by the media
