a hornets fan said they would want KOQ and Jennings for Hibbert/Sessions/and 2017 lottery protected 1st.

I would do that trade.

Then send Courtney Lee to indy for a lottery protected 1st.

See if you can move Rose

(probably can't move noah at this point and he will be good for the younger players to learn from).

Send JJ Redich to a 3rd team for another 1st round pick

That would be Austin Rivers, 4 future 1st round picks, and Brice Johnson.

Not a horrible way to start a rebuild.

That is how you do it. Trading Melo really wouldn't solve anything. In fact we will probably have an uptick in effort and team play and pull out some wins that we may have lost playing the old dudes.

Keep in mind, the difference between keeping/trading Melo is a top 5 pick and a bottom of the lotto pick. That alone is another reason to move Melo.

While I agree with you that we're bad with Melo, without him, we become a bottom 3 team.

In order to get a top 5 pick we have to win less than 30 games. Right now we're in a 35 win team with jinx
