It’s cause he can’t really create from the perimeter. He relies on bully ball too much.

He bricked momentum shots early agreed. The zoned the entire game and his game is driving.

well, i was right about him being a good coach still. so i got that going for me.

look, it's a weird place to be. the knicks are building culture and playing hard which is good. they needed to establish themselves as something more than a joke. but we could have really used another high lottery pick or 2 first. we're playing above our talent level.

that was always my point

thibs is a good coach...always has been

I just seemed like we were a 1 or 2 years away from needing thibs...we still don't have enough talent. And now we may have jumped a little higher then we thought possible which could backfire into a potential treadmill situation unless a star forces his way here...what are the chances of that?

Herro seemed better in the bubble. He looks too small and slow in traffic. But his J is picture perfect.

RJ is better.

Nobody is ever really gonna be able to square that circle. You need to get better and play better and you need an influx of talent. The glue in the middle is luck lol.

Thing is we had Mitch out, Randle halfway injured, and Thibs favoring Payton. Our best product wasnt on the floor tonight.

As of right now I would have to think about whether I'd take Herro over Quickley.

Just look at Boston. Got all those great Nets picks, got some good players and their future is decent, but they weren't made in the shade at all. Prolly should have kept Rozier. And after Tatum and Brown, and Brown may not be all that great, they've got a bunch of meh.

Just saying, tanking doesn't do it. It really doesn't. The Thunder got 3 guys who were great and didn't win a title, which is the goal. 6ers didn't come away with an historically great roster from SEVERE tanking.

The Heat didn't get here, still with a worse record than the Knicks, by tanking.
