I didn’t see the specs on this Pels deal, but if the Kings really wanna dump Hield n move down, I’d do: 9th pick & Hield for 21st. Prob grab Davion with #9.

Pels want to dump Bledsoe and are reported to include the #10 pick to do it. we could absorb his contract for that pick.

I'm high Diallo. I think theres something there and he could be a long term role player in this league.

Did we never make a good move? What about:

1) Randle sign.
2) Ed Davis double trade
3) Bullock sign
4) Burks sign
5) Rose trade
6) Morris trade
7) Vidolza sign

1. Stabilized culture and front office, headed by people with strong connections to agents/players
2. Quality coaching staff which was proven by last years overacheiving performance to finish 4th in East
3. 5 FRPs in next 3 years
4. A few young decent quality tradeable assets headed by RJ Barrett
5. Most cap space in NBA, even possible 2 clear room to sign TWO maxes.
6. A young ascending player who can be part of a big 2 or 3 in Julius Randle
7. Best Hospitals and treatment centers arguably in the world

To just assume automatic doom and gloom is a bit pessimistic. This doesn't garantee we get a superstar or two but I have a feeling we end up with some pretty good upgrades. Ranging from Sexton low end to Lillard and Kawhi high end.

Cons:
1) High taxes
2) High cost of living
3) Owner who is known for intervening
4) Players/system in place, can't just walk in with your friends and own the place (*cough* Nets *cough*)
5) Fickle fans that will boo you, verbally abuse you every bad game

I'm tired of the high taxes narrative. Lebron went from Miami to Los Angeles. Harden went from Houston to Brooklyn. Kawhi asked out of San Antonio and eventually signed in Los Angeles. Durant OKC to Golden State. Lebron didn't sign with the Heat in 2010 for no state income tax, it was to play with Dwayne Wade.

Just get ready for some more Noel and Burks 1 style 1 year deals.

The most exciting thing you might get is Kelly Oubre on a 1 year deal.

And Elf is coming back.

We’ll see if anything the Knicks are waiting so Woj can have the exclusive on dropping their moves. That CAA loyalty runs deep

Don't laugh. We are going to make the ultimate entertainment Basketball League - the Garbaaaage Time League (said in Marv Albert voice). Elf, Mudiay, Super Mario, and the like will all play 1 on 1 to see who's the best. The winner of the round-robin style tournament will then go one on one against KILLDOZER.

I'm betting that mediocrity beats futility every time.

Except for the RealGM Knicks forum. Players hate us and I heard was the main reason to Durant chose The Nets when decided to move to NY.

I see they modeled it's game after RJ Barrett

Love how it slides sideways - great lateral agility.
