There is like 0% chance Grimes is holding this deal up.

I’d say it’s far more likely we had a “deal” and aimge bait and switched the knicks for more. Hence the sudden quietness and lack of credible update.

Knicks won’t leak that ainge Pulled a scam job on them bc that would nuke any chance of a trade

The framework is in place but the deal won't be done until they negotiate which brand of lube they are going to use....Ainge doesn't want to move off of 'none'

Sure he is nice but he shouldn't be a hold up on trading for a star. He is a complementary piece. And those are easy to get. We've had plenty. What we haven't had in over a decade is a star. He can go along with all the picks.

I would ideally like to keep one of him or IQ though in terms of complementary roster construction . But we arent going to let Q Grimes stand in the way of landing a top 20 player in the NBA.
