Paco was ranked 33rd on tankathon big board. Maybe he not as unknown as we think.

He may be getting legit minutes.

We wanted some sort of investment in the future, well, there you go…interesting.

legit minutes where?

we have duece and DD and hart all off the bench.

He is either going to kick it in westchester all year or should just stay overseas and develop.

He’s a wing, what other wings do we have on the bench?

I just have a hard time believing thibs trusting a raw 19 year old on a team with championship expectations. He barely played IQ and Grimes early on and they were older prospects.

Hart / Robinson / Sims
Randle / T.Harris / Achiuwa
OG Anunoby / Hart / Dadiet
Bridges / Di Vincenzo / McBride
Brunson / Lowry / Jakubaitis

Plus some more picks... enough assets for another star or depth if needed in the process

They only did it to match the NFL..

Its stupid.

Competition and ad dollars aside,
The teams/GMs asked for it as well.

It makes total sense, especially how many productive players (our own franchise player) come out of the 2nd round.

The 2nd round is also always rushed which leads to teams just going with draft and stashes .

Lastly with the new CBA 2nd rounders being more beneficial to high salary teams needing to hit on affordable talent makes a 2nd day even more important

We're almost certainly picking with our seconds and then going for some undrafted guys.

After getting Mikal without losing anyone from the top of the rotation so stacking up the depth and knowing Thibs usually doesn't go more than 9 deep during the regular season except for garbage time rookies probably weren't seeing much burn anyway.

IHart/Mitch/(Bona?)
Randle/OG/(Mogbo?)
OG/Hart
Mikal/Divo
Brunson/Deuce

There isn't any room for a rookie on a team with title contention aspirations.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right

we're day 1 into being in cap hell

and it already sucks.

look at all of these stupid tricks we need to do just to stay under the second apron

study Paul George's current situation. because that'll be exactly how Randle's next deal plays out.

We literally do this even when we are not in cap hell. Nothing changed except that we actually should be doing this now.

We’ll probably get some veteran ring chasers who will play for the minimum or close to it. Thibs will get his cheap bodies and iHart stays a Knick

DaRon Holmes going to DEN is a great pick IMO. Dude can play. Those Murray Gordon sans Jokic mins are always tricky for DEN & they’ve toyed with multiple lineups trying to find a steady mix. I think Holmes will help that a lot

They still need another G (assuming KCP comes back), but I really like this step.

they can....they may just not want to.

As much as we are frustrated with Mitch injuries and as much as we are planning to match up against the celtics....the sixers will still be a threat and he's the only guy on the roster that can guard embiid.

Wild to assume mitch or even embiid will even be healthy then.

I fck with mitch but it's so hard to rely on him when we are this close to making a serious run.

Mitch is better off traded and replaced with a versatile stretch big who can defend some.

Give me Isiah Stewart. Or someone else.

Just get another big who can shoot. That's a major weakness.

Thibs isn’t playing a 2nd round rookie who’ll pick up 3 fouls in 5 minutes.

What the frig happened with Kolek? No one thought he’d even be available for us.

Probably going before 38 tomorrow. And that whole Dunn smokescreen?

You are worried about the cap? Do you know the Knicks have the best cap management team in the entire league?

I have a gut feeling we take Dadiet's teammate, Juan Nunez at 38. 20 yrs old, 6'5 Spanish PG who will be a stash. The guy has zero athleticism to speak of but looks crafty as hell and a great passer.
