I thought Thor was going to be a very hard movie to pull off, so I wasn't expecting much. It didn't blow me away, but at the end of the day I was happy and pleasantly surprised.

it was good. asgard looked incredible in that **** copy i saw, hemsworth pulled off Thor well, hiddleston was great as loki, jaimie alexander is gorgeous as sif, anthony hopkins was great as usual. i thought it had a nice balance to it. definitely a good first "Thor" film.

Idris Elba was superb

I'd give a 7 out of 10 stars though, I'm not a fan of the cliche love subplot.

yeah, he was as well.

You guys still talking about Thor over there?

I saw it like two weeks ago 8-)

Iron Man
Wolverine
Thor
X-Men
Spider Man
Hulk

In that order

What? You actually have X-Men Origins: Wolverine ahead of the original X-Men, Thor and Spiderman?

That movie was a turd...

Saw it on my computer on Friday and went to the movies to see it Sunday night. LOVED It. Really set the tone for future movies. It was similar to Iron Man 1 in that it provides the real background to Thor's character. There wasn't a lot of action in it, but that was 100% fine with me.

If you do go see it, 3D is not necessary...at all. I highly recommend this movie for any comic book guy...just a very good movie.

Aww man, I watched and I couldn't tell what it was at all. I was hoping the Avengers dealt with the Infinity Gauntlet somehow.

Thor was GOOD. I didn't like Ironman 2 at all. Thought the Hulk was just okay. Wolverine was decent. Ironman 1 was really good. Spiderman is kinda meh to me. Thor is just below Ironman in my book. I thought it'd be corny but the costumes and imagery actually worked REALLY WELL. I hope Captain America lives up to the level of Thor and Ironman.

At this point however I kinda want to give it a shot. My boy ( who is an action flick junky) saw it and loved it. Honestly he 's not to big on plots but still I'm thinking it might be worth a shot.

Has anybody here seen it, and if so what are your thoughts?

Yep Ironman 1 was very good ...

I wonder when the Avengers are all on the screen together will Robert Downey junior steal the scenes....

Not with Samuel Jackson repping S.H.I.E.L.D. in it haha. Besides him though, I think Downey is gonna steal the show.

I mean, there is a good amount in the beginning and at the end, but I'd say the overwhelming majority of the film has none (not a bad thing!). I personally liked how they made the movie more about his development and the way it gave information on the background of Thor instead of force feeding the action down our throats.

This movie got me really hyped up for Captain America also...THAT movie is going to be AMAZING.

That's ok. That's good. If I had a girl like that, I'd want her to remind me all the time just in case I got some stupid ideas in my head which would screw things up. lol

Trust me, there aren't too many of "them" out there. It makes me very happy to see a member of my team find one ... just to remind me that some are still out there.

Dude stay safe and fight through it...somebody needs to continue to run the BAT :D

haha I'm kidding. But seriously, it gets better. Everyone hits that rough patch. It sounds like you've been listening to beautiful lasers too much. Don't listen depressing songs and focus on yourself. Friends aren't everything at that age. Hell, I had a lot of friends back in high school and I talk to maybe a handful of them now. You'll make more friends in college. And the population of available girls will go up X10,000. Enjoy the little things in life now. Be thankful you have your legs. Be thankful you have your health. Be thankful you have your mind. People are grieving because they have lost their loved ones. I know you feel like your life sucks, but on the grand scheme of things, when you look back, it won't even be a drop in a bucket. Get through this because once you do, everything will be better.
