He's not the only one that is happy, much of the board seems happy as well
Yea it's pretty ridiculous. Wherever he ends up, I hope he averages 24 and 8 so they can feel dumb.
like as dumb as you must feel now since you made fun of and ridiculed Carmelo all season only to show that you clearly never watched him play in Denver and D'Antoni was using him wrong?
He can get matched, and if he wants to play he's going to have to actually earn it. Instead of being anointed a star because of marketing reasons.
Felton put up similar stats in the gimmick system while not being a turnover machine. He also has history in playing grind-it-out half-court basketball. Something Lin doesn't have real history with.
RIP Jared Jeffries. Gone but never forgotten...2006-2012

Is it possible that the reaction to the Knicks not matching Lin will be so bad that the FO will change their mind and match before the 3 days expires?

Once again: Felton wouldn't take a pay-cut to be the third-stringer for the organization that threw him away like a piece of meat just a year ago.
Felton will be the starter.
DEAR MOTHER OF GOD.

Excellent, he was a deadly 3pt shooter at OSU.

We let fields go... no way we let Lin walk.

Amazing that this guy gets paid to do this... he hasn't even thought about the fact that we have one SG on our roster. Has no sources that "Lin is a goner" but reports it anyway.
he has sources, and hes right.
Why does it "seem clear" then?

I don't think so because he's coming so cheap and Kidd will be getting minutes at the two.

He said that about a week ago, when Lin wasn't getting poison pilled and when Felton wasn't on the team. It's one thing to say Lin's going to be the starter when we have Lin on a 7mill/per and Kidd on the bench, but the entire landscaped has been overturned.

Re: *Felton traded to the Knicks. Knicks not matching Lin?
Jeffries salary will be 1.65M + 1.35M from Gadzuric, that makes 3M in total
3M + 25% = 3.8M
3M + 50% = 4.5M
=> Felton will be paid max 3M a year; minimum 2M a year!!... that's a great deal by Grunnie!!

DEAR MOTHER OF GOD.
If Felton is getting $3m a year, it's not really a pay cut.
