That's the thing.. I'm not trying to bash on Phil (or Fisher) just to bash on him and I don't know his exact thinking on the subject but in todays NBA everybody is running. Pau, Melo, Calderon??? You can't run with those guys.. we'd have to slow it down.. a lot which doesn't utilize guys like Shumpert and THJ. If Phil's plan is to just tread water next year while the system is being implemented, fine. But if adding Calderon and then Pau is his idea of building a contender he's crazy.

It all makes sense now!

I always figured Red Holzman had a deal with the devil, so the Knicks could win those two championships, but be cursed ever after. Phil was the hippy sort of guy, so he probably assisted in the ceremony, drawing the pentagram etc.

Now he's come full circle and is collaborating with the devil himself, Robert Randolph. THAT'S why RR is so confident!

Phil and RR have Herb Williams drugged up in some dank sub basement of MSG. Once they finish sacrificing him tomorrow, Knicks get LeBron, Melo and Gasol.

It'll make more sense after a few more hits.

Definitely not going to get too worked up over it. I do think we have a great shot at pau regardless of everything else.

basically that melo is def coming back, then if knicks can move bart/stat then lebron for sure is coming.
