Al Jefferson.

Okafor is already as good as Al Jefferson in his prime. Okafor is 19 years old.

Wow. So you think he's 23 & 11 his rookie year? I'll sig bet that.

Not if he's playing with Melo, you know the big dog gotta eat first.

I got 19 and 9 if he's first option.

Towns is my pick. He will at worst, be good, but not great, at everything. Also if you look at the types of players the top 3 centersare compared to:

Okafor is Al Jeff
Towns is Al Horford
WCS is Tyson Chandler

Al Horford would be the BPA as well as the best fit on this team as a well rounded do it all player.

I missed all the games last night but by looking at the highlights, Okafor's ft shooting and defense continue to be huge weaknesses. Is it fair to say Okafor will be one of the worst defensive bigs as a rookie?

And it looks like Russell had an average game.

1. Orlando Magic - Jahlil Okafor
2. Denver Nuggets - Karl-Anthony Towns
3. New York Knicks
4. Philadelphia 76ers
5. Minnesota Timberwolves
6. Philadelphia 76ers (from LA Lakers)

Would you consider an offer from the 76ers of Nerlens Noel and 6th Overall for 3rd Overall?

Nah...don't like Noel. I'd just happily take Russell.

Strongly disagree. Towns already has a go to move in the post and has shown the ability to consistently hit a jumper.

Hes from Nj, grew up loving the Knicks. Obviously thats not the reason you draft the kid but it doesn't hurt. Maybe the best thing might be to draft him and then sign a guy like David West to help us mold him. Never thought about that until just this moment. Local Jersey product, tough.

 Lack of fire?? Yeah it's called conserving energy because you're too busy trying to carry your team while your teammates daydream.

SmH....Ok4 is still my 1a... but you can't conserve sh*t in the NBA... you play hard or you sit...really need to stop making excuses for every single weakness everyone points out... OK4 is not prefect. Ok4 has weakness. He needs to improve for the NBA game. And like Calhoun pointed out he might be a "little too good of a kid" down low... in the NBA, he better get explosive and aggressive. He should be setting the example for his Duke team and always play hard, that's leadership. Shaq at LSU didn't conserve sh*t, Shaq dominated...

what is the sleeve ok4 is wearing on his lower leg? as an outsider, it looks like he is a carrying a lower leg injury and not going 100% in the games

Anyone find it hard for Towns to love the Knicks? I know Knicks are his local team, but most kids his age aren't even Knick fans because Knicks been so terrible the last 10-15 years. I figure most 16-20 years gave up on the Knicks. If Towns is a Knicks fan, props to him.

We ourselves know how draining following this team is.

Elite offensively big men don't grow on trees.

Give me Okafor 100%.

Genuinely curious why there is a belief that Towns is "raw" and needs time to develop? Seems to me like he is already extremely skilled. Maybe he doesn't have post repertoire of Okafor, but he is far from inept there, and also can contribute on the offensive end immediately with his shooting and passing.
