Nobody needs to know anything about your work if you're confident that you're going to be putting your best foot forward when the season starts. Really good & true. Nothing KP has done on the court (or at least not much) since being in the league makes me feel nervous about him. But the way he's acted since the season ended does. Like Phil or not, he's acting in a self-interested and even possibly bizarre way.

I am giving him the benefit of the doubt until he's back in the US and addresses everything. He seems to be working hard, and really he has always struck me as really level headed. We don't know everything that was going on. He is 21. I am not concerned... yet.

Nyc Gets: Sumpert, Frye (will be wavied), Aldrich, Felder, Minn 2018 (via Sac) 1st rd pick, Cleveland 2020 second rd pick, and a T.E (Mo Williams)

Minn Gets: Lance Thomas, a Cleveland 1st rd (2018) Top 25 protected

Cleveland Gets: Melo and their super team

Or maybe cavs send the first to NY? We get rid of LT 3 yrs contract... we can drop Aldrich after a year, we gain a 1st, which should be a high pick, a second rounder, a T.E, a young PG and Shump (just play D and hit 3's)

Portland sheds Turner, Harkless and Carbbe salary. thats massive for them. It costs them their pick next year and their expendables from this draft.

I think Colins might be the sticking point for Portland in which case Id keep KOQ and let them keep colins and make the pick top 5 protected

This works in the trade checker

Melo, KOQ, and Lee --> Boston
Bradley, Crowder, Brown, Ojeleye ---> NY

If they want to keep Brown (even with Tatum, which is an odd fit IMO), they can add salary and give us a first rounder.

Reasoning: Honestly, only reason would be if they lost out on Hayward and Ainge felt some pressure. Melo would be a nice mentor for offensive arsenal for Tatum (with proper coaching in Stevens, it could be a lethal combination for Tatum), Lee would be a nice 3/D option replacing Crowder/Bradley, Brown is somewhat redundant with Crowder and Tatum, and KOQ would be a nice backup big on any contending team.
