Lebron

They are both great players, but AD probably has the slight edge. If you put Jokic on the Lakers, AD on the Nuggets results would probably be the same.

And lets get it out there...Dolan should be ashamed of himself for missing out on Bron...He had 5 years to prepare.
years no matter how you look at it...He should have had this organization set up so it was a no brainer for Bron to
come here...

and dont get @ me either...

Is Jokic a #1 option though? Didn’t really seem like it in these playoffs

Murray led the Nuggets in scoring. AD led the Lakers in scoring.

Lebron is obviously the best player on the Lakers and Jokic is obviously the best player on the Nuggets. PPG really doesn't tell the entire story

again I get it, but again they lost by double digits and he was a one of the few nuggets that was a + on the net rating tonight.

Trust me I get the defensive lapses. I do. But sometimes you gotta shoot your shot and just got with your most talented unit if he **** up defenisvely he **** up defensively...its can't be worse that a guy shooting 25% from the field for an entire series!

Yeah maybe but I don't think it would have mattered either way. Denver wasn't built to beat these Lakers

i understand but its not like they were completly overmatches all series

AD hit a game winner. They were tied with the lakers basically going into the 4th in this game. This could have easily been the game 5 2-2 series tied game.

Lebron probably ultimately wins no denying that. But this series could have easily gone 6 or even 7 if Malone just trusted the talent he has. For goodness sake the kid has his best defensive possession of the series and he took him out next possession

Yeah I hear you. It looked like he just wanted Millsap out there when AD and Dwight were out there together so when he took MPJ out it was because AD checked in I think.

It does, if you look at it in terms of this series. AD was the series MVP. He hit a game winner. Outside of that Lebron flurry in garbage time he hadn't really had the best series. And Jokic was made to be invisible. The one game they did win was on Murray's shoulders.

Murray was better than Jokic in this series.

i hear ya, AD cooked milsap all series too so he wasn't even helping defensively. Malone was just going with his vet, which I guess I understand. But MPJ is one of the players that if you get engaged the team just has a different level of energy.

He's also the only guy on the team that can consistently hit the 3 with any consitency on the team.

Yea, i agree with that. And AD probably really needed someone like Lebron too. AD on the Nuggets, and i dont think they beat the Clippers. Denver may be better with Jokic, Lakers better with AD.

The Western Conference was supposed to be the gauntlet but the Lakers made it look easy this year.

because of their passing, they both raise up the play of the people around them more. ad doesn't really do that (see the pelicans). but as a talent on offense, and defense too obviously, ad is better. different roles.

The Clippers choking and costing us the series we deserved made it easier for them

yeah I mean bam probably can check AD a bit. But butler is too small for Lebron and they will just run the heat through multiple screens to get a matchup like LeBron on Herro/Draigc/Robinson and take advantage there.

Jokic could be better but here needs to take over important games. He just doesn't.
