We all make **** deals, if you make enough of them. I think we are all grownups to deal with a little criticism or at least defend our moves. I was taken to the cleaners by HEZI for Jaylen Brown early in BAF. Probably my worst move in BAF. We all make them. But its also part of the game to be here and take it as well because its part of the game.

DaGawd in a rough spot moving forward with assets but hopefully he can work himself out of it.

And the funny part is I ended up giving Jaylen Brown away for basically cap space because it was the only way for me to get out of no mans land at the time. I wish I could have kept him too

Spoiler:
1/24- The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to trade Jaylen Brown, Kevon Looney, Shabazz Napier, Georgios Papagiannis and a 2021 2nd round draft pick to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Brook Lopez, Zaza Pachulia, Stanley Johnson, Antonio Blakeney, and a 2020 1st round draft pick (San Antonio receives whichever pick Denver has left after their pick swap with Atlanta).

I mean it really wasn't that bad of a deal at the time. Keep in mind he was only a 2.5 star player at the time and was on a $165 contract. You knew he was going to break out eventually, as did I but with the SIM being a year behind it would require a lot of waiting and at the time I think we both didn't have the patience to wait for him to eventually live up to that contract.

Gonna just take it a step at a time and try not to stick to a script too much. Last year coming in as a new GM taking over this team I gave it a wait and see period with a few tweaks. Roster was still far from a true contender I think we can all agree. I was going to give it another season of somewhat wait and see but after some time passed figured why delay the inevitable. Didn’t see a true path to contention keeping Kyrie and the cast of guys I had. Hoping the cap space coming and what I’m aiming for to be a top 5 pick will be the start of building a chip

Yeah I was never a big Wiseman fan to begin with but sometimes you gotta make moves for the SIM. I know they had to rate him amazing coming out of college because he only played 3 games and destroyed that weak competition. I was actually planning my entire draft (KOC before he left can vouch and maybe even CAP). With my potpourri of 1sts I thought KDOT was going Wiseman and Hoffa was going to go Edwards. Which would leave LaMelo to me and then I would draft players that would make sense next to him with all my consecutive picks. When those moves happened I had to pivot a bit mid draft. It probably propelled me to the post season though because Wiseman was nearly 1st team all NBA. All worked out in the end.

i like what you did...nba teams tank- i know this for a fact. its obviously not obvious- but they understand that there can only be one winner and if you re far from it why pretend...

Thon Maker had 2 years just like Jabari did and thon was only at $70 when Jabari was over double his contract for the same amount of years.

I know because I ended up with thon and bought him out for 1 year $140 total from KDOT.

Thon made it around to a few teams so I wouldn't call you the "most informed". He was a bad contract but we have all moved under $100 type contracts before for much less. It is what it is. We can all admit to bad trades. It was a bad trade by him, don't have to defend it for the sake of defending it.

I can confirm Robin was a little late on knowing Jabari's value post Milwaukee lol. Shame how injuries did his career though. It's weird that he's only 26
