There isn't one size fits all as an experirnce. It is weird that the baby isn't around like that. He may be having home troubles on top of team troubles.KnicksGadfly wrote:Barcs wrote:2010 wrote:That newborn must be kicking Randle’s ass! He been mad at the world since the lil one came into it.
If he's being constantly woken up by a crying baby, that explains a lot. I would have to stay in a hotel. That sounds like a nightmare.
As a dad, I dunno if this explains everything. He's been a dad before, but also, he has the money and resources to get services that normal people don't. I'd understand a lot more if his wife was pissed off at the world though. Women have it a lot worse. Shat, I had a lot of fun with my baby, cause my wife had the much harder job.
Maybe there's other stuff that's going on, but this dad thing...eh.

Watch other teams. It's not rare at all. We're just supersensitive re: Randle right now.dakomish23 wrote:prophet_of_rage wrote:Players argue with coaches at the pro level more because they make more money than the coaches.dakomish23 wrote:That video with the coach is very concerning.
Players get into it with other players all the time. I’m more ok with that. But coaches, unless they’re disrespectful, should be listened to at this level.

It’s very rare we see the type of interaction we saw with Randle. Last time I remember that on the Knicks was Zeke and one of our guys when he was coaching.

The lengths you’ll go to defend an incompetent crybaby is sad.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

We really don’t know and it’s probably better we don’t guess. Like this board went crazy over follows I don’t want to see where people go following that train of thought. I don’t think we should start down that slippery slope.
Whatever, I’d totally tell him this sh*t to his face and am not at all hiding behind the anonymity of the internet to express my uninformed insensitive feelings about the man’s family life!
Even though for real he’s the one choosing to put his family in the public eye. But you’re right we don’t have enough context to comment on his family life.
See that’s the thing it’s not about being scared. We’re hear judging these guys on their ability to put a ball through a hoop. The moment him traveling with his family and showing affection gets you thinking those kind of thoughts… That becomes a you problem, not a him problem, and it reflects more on you (and us by association) than it does on him.
If I wanted to get into gossip and judging people on their life I would watch TMZ. Randle is giving us more than enough ammunition to roast him too so it’s even more of a slippery slope. We don’t know him at all on any level besides basketball and sports.

It appears you're the supersensitive one here. We're just stating the reality that Randle is mentally unhinged. Get over it

I don't feel bad for a fraud. Be a man and have some accountability. He has none. He thinks he is above any criticism and he should be dealt with accordingly. I don't care how just as long as the result is him off the roster or away from the team. Toxic clowns like this make everything worse.

Well, for context I happened to sit directly behind his wife and son at the Laker game so I had 3 hours to think about how weird a dynamic it really is.
In reality, Randle’s talent and hard work have earned him every penny of that contract, but it’s also earned him a certain loss of privacy especially when MSG so blatantly cashed in on the marketability of a 4 year old last season. Every Knick fan at that Laker game knew exactly who that kid was walking around the concourse at halftime for some Doritos.
Super weird dynamic especially since she just had a second baby, but whatever. My guess is MSG made a mistake by bringing his family into the public eye and it’s affecting his emotional volatility.

Jason Kidd did that with his son. And I suspect it was because Joumanna didn't trust him. Who knows if Julius got busted. There's thousands of reasons why he has the family with him.
Just keep it to Julius is playing poorly and needs to be traded.

Just keep it to...leave your family drama at home when you come to work! That's is the worst possible excuse. So...what ..his wife is "stalking" him at his job. Dragging their kid/s all over the country during a pandemic? Watching him throw tantrums and act like he does? It's not a good look in at level but...if what you're suggesting is possible...it is even worse.

I am down to trade him for expirings and draft picks, talk trade scenarios all day, and call him a big baby for the sideline stuff, but this speculation is just a waste of time and a uglier than what he deserves because of basketball.

Ha, did you really just use Jason Kidd and Doug Christie as a rebuttal to Randle being a high-drama weird dude?
The first thing I whispered to my date was that Kendra was probably there to keep an eye on Julius. Our entire section was filled with silicon, Botox, fake lashes, and assorted fillers.
If there’s a point here it’s just that the man doesn’t seem cut out for the NY spotlight. He and his family would be better off in Sacramento or Portland. Honestly, having spent time in Dallas, they’d fit right in. But this 5-year-old-in-the-spotlight sh*t won’t fly in NY. MSG needs to stop posting his face all over everything b/c it doesn’t seem to be helping dad’s emotions.

Randle didn’t yell at him. Randle tried to son him lol. Showing him tape of not playing defense or not seeing a double got him pissed.

The man acts like an **** in front of his kid every other game. Not a good look at all.

No... you're posting nonsense. It is a fair discussion honestly. This is a Randle thread. The guy has been a different person for months. There are red flags. You want your kid watching you melt down at work every night? Who does that?
Again...I don't care either way. He needs to get his head right. You didn't want the discussion yet...here you are dragging it out.
