I still think y'all haven't adjusted to the new NBA

70 players were paid at least 20 million this year

10 players played at least 36 mpg this year. Hell, drop it to 35 mpg, it's still only 24 guys

20 million is not the same as it used to be.

ok I glanced at the list.

I couldn't find a single non-starter for anyone making over 20m.

Pay him more for less years would be my normal approach but we might be extending Brunson and Randle again

Pretty sure the Knicks can afford it and he seems reasonable

There is zero doubt he's going to be re-signed.

I ate some crow earlier in the thread but I really gotta repeat: I can't remember EVER having been so wrong about a player. He is a straight up dog. I find it so fun and enjoyable watching him play on both ends of the court. He completely reminds me of how the Knicks used to play in the 90s. So excited we got him.

Jalen Brown (for Randle and picks), Vanderbilt full mid level and for Fournier and picks (if one of them becomes available) for either Anunoby, Grant or Bridges (I would welcome the bad boy Bridges too :) )

Those guys are in our division, i dont see that as realistic. We would be raped.

Cam Johnson is a Restricted FA. Wonder how much he would cost

Also we have a chance to draft if Dallas gets 11th pick

I had slight doubts about this move at the time. Knew we would love Hart but didnt like giving up our pick. Now we aren’t getting the Dallas pick either. That part kinda sucks still, but we prob wouldn’t draft anyone better than Hart anyway. The man is exactly what this team needed and hes in his early prime. Give him the key to the city.

Let’s see what happens I am holding out hope Karma strikes the Mavs and we get pick 11 or 12.

The flattened odds makes it a 1 in 5 chance we get that pick.

At the time of this trade he was shooting around 20% from three over his last ten games. I wasn’t impressed.

Now I’m very impressed. I didn’t think I’d need to mention that.

Awful. Knicks gave up a pick for this mediocre player while not being true contender. Awful franchise.

Not every pick is reserved for a superstar dude. We have a coach that plays 9 guys. If anything I'm pissed we didn't have the pick so guess what? I could trade it.
