Nah it's real. I just posted another video with him and you see he's in the organist box at MSG.

If you want to go down the rabbit hole, you could make an argument that keeping Randle and DiVencenzo while adding Bridges would have made us better (at least for) this year.
The problem at the time was Randle was:
1. A bit more a headcase,
2. Up until that point was terrible in the playoffs in the NY spotlight
3. Sounded like his contract extension would be a problem and he might leave.
With the risks involved, I still think we made to right decision but I will say this: If Randle was able to excorcise his playoff demons like he did this year in Minny, coupled with keeping Divo who loved playing here, you could definitely argue that we could have been a better team.
I truly believe LAST years team if it remained healthy had a legit chance to beat Boston. Not garanteeing we would have, but we were a studly defensive team after the OG trade (something like 20-5) before everyone and their mother started succumbing to injuries. That team in one of the last regular season games blow out Boston in their building with a defensive intensity quite similar to what we saw in game 6.
Also it was a team with more than 3/4 its top 6-7 starters out that took the Pacers to 7 games.
And with saying all this I am not saying in any way I am unhappy with KAT either.
But if you call this years Randle in Minny and KAT kind of a wash, Divo's ridiculous 3 ball was definitely missed.
Yep, while KAT has been solid in the playoffs but still up and down, Randle has been pretty amazing in the playoffs on both ends. We would’ve won the chip last year if he was healthy. That being said, this current Knicks group has a legit shot to win it all with KAT.
If all our players remained healthy last years team was REALLY REALLY GOOD. That we definitely agree.
I really would love to find a way to bring back Divo next year. He is languishing in Minny. I dont know if we can sign and trade Precious in the deal but if they actually want to resign Randle they are going to maybe want cheaper and shorter term contracts.
Divo not even counting the Nova connection is a perfect complement to this squad. This line-up doesn't have one of those made bombers from 5 feet beyond the 3 point line. That dynamic would be perfect to add especially when we play Mitch Rob at the 5.

Last January was a great run. It was 14 games. We looked unstoppable. How far they would have gotten is anyone's guess but, I loved that team.
The whole idea that keeping Randle we would be better? Based on what? He played like we needed him to for one month and didn't want to sign an extension? Oh well
Donte sucked off the bench for us btw. He wasn't playing well until he became a starter. He struggled a bit off the bench in Minny this year. I would love to have ran that team back and just add Mikal but, that wasn't possible.
Here we are in the ECF so .. Everything Rose did worked out fine. 8 down and 8 to go.

This is awesome, but it confused me a bit because I grew up going to school with a guy I thought had become THE organist at MSG, and the guy in the video isn't him. I just looked him up (my guy), and it looks like he's still doing it as of a few days ago, so does MSG actually have multiple house organists?

I think he's the back up to your guy Ray
I can't imagine how hype it is to play those chords during a big possession

Dude definitely has more talent in him than the overrated CP The Franchise. The only thing that CP has over him is that he landed himself one of the hottest women in the Tri-State area.

I know comparing a musician to a Knicks podcaster is comparing apples to oranges, but I couldn't help notice how much homeboy looks like CP The Franchise.

Need to hang OG’s name in the raftersbiggest upgrade we made from a losing player to a winning player of all time.

14 games out of how many years? That doesn’t work most of the time in the workplace…you’d get fired way before then for that because your boss will ask you why you weren’t putting in that effort earlier. In his time here, there’s only one year where I was satisfied with his effort: 2020-2021. Any other year after that, I knew we weren’t getting his all.
We can’t just blame playoff injuries. The man should have been going hard from the beginning…he would have been a legend here. It’s hard to overstate how many advantages he was given. He had Daddy Dolan’s ear, which is so big. He was the undisputed leader of the team for several years. Thibs gave him the ball over and over. He made many mistakes and did not face any accountability, which might have been the Knicks’ mistake too. The one time he was held accountable here was when he didn’t get his extension and then got traded.
We shouldn’t blame the Knicks for trading away Randle. If Randle did what he was supposed to do, he’d still be here. He’d be on track to be a Knicks legend. He’d have his contract, his Knicks legacy, an environment where the owner loves him, etc. If he truly valued that, he wouldn’t need “14 games”
