Seriously guys, no more of this Ochocinco twitter garbage. You honestly think Lebron is going to be cryptic on his future for basically 2 years, be noncommittal in all of his meetings and not make any statements whatsoever during the biggest week of his life and then tell the only person on earth with a bigger mouth than Superhead what his plans are? C'MON SON.

You would think if Lebron has been waiting 2 years to leave the Cavs and visit the Knicks already, he would have made his decision by now..

I like your sig. A Wojina is a terrible thing to waste.

If he lives long enough to make it into a wheelchair, I hope I can be around to wait for him as he comes out of a big meeting so I can say, "You don't look very vibrant in your wheelchair Wojina. I'm not impressed."

Jerk.

That one line was the worst thing I've ever read in journalism history.

Thanks. I completely agree. That was so far below the belt it's ridiculous. I don't think I've ever seen a tabloid article that was more blatantly spiteful, uncalled for, unprofessional and disgusting. It's insulting not only to Donnie Walsh in his present condition but to anyone with any kind of disability at all. It would be horrible if someone who was by consensus very handsome said it but for a guy like Wojo to have the gall to say such a thing makes it even more baffling. He should be ashamed and quite frankly he should be forced to resign because that isn't journalism. It's disgusting insensitive mudslinging and there's no place for it. I don't care what kind of agendas people have, it's flat out wrong.

You can't blame him, the guy was a nobody before this free agency, these beat writers are using this as an advantage to get their names out. What better way to do so by creating outlandish reports.

It's a cruel and utterly unprofessional bit of hackery. He should be fired, no ifs ands or buts. Gone.

Even with ruhTard, he hasn't crossed the line into attacking a person for their looks or things they can't help like being up there in age and having a medical condition. ruhTard is just biased and clueless about sports. This guy is actually smarter and should know better -- and it's cowardly and bordering on evil to write a story with this included.

Plus like you say the guy looks like a crazy person trying hard to get a date with his best photograph, and he's not winning any beauty contests. Where the f does this guy get off.

I hope everyone's gonna look like clowns when everything is said and done. When Amar’e gave that jab to ESPN in one of his twitter posts, I know for sure the players are probably laughing at the ineptitude of the press. They're probably in on it and messing with them. Even Wade, as much as I can’t stand him… I have to give props to for calling them out. It’s embarrassing.

I really don't know at all Knicksgod. The only thing I can think of is that this whole situation has gone so far beyond chaos that these guys have checked their ethics at the door in the hopes of piggybacking off of the madness and making a name for themselves. Then again nobody else sunk to such a disgustingly low level so it might just be that this guy has no soul. As we all know Donnie Walsh is one of the most respected people in the NBA and it's criminal that someone would treat him this way. Even the comment about Dolan who I can't say I have much love for was well beyond the pale. I think when things calm down and people look back at this his integrity has got to be called into question by his peers because it goes against everything journalism is supposed to be.

Agreed. It really bothered me that Walsh had to answer questions about this to the media and that this small-time loser of a 'journalist' tried to humiliate a basketball executive who has devoted his whole life to the game.

Absolutely. It must be embarrassing for Donnie to have to field such ridiculous questions. I truly hope that this hack gets what's coming to him. At any rate, I'm off to bed because I'm exhausted lol. Hopefully when I wake up we can discuss how the vibrant bus hit Wojo right in his frumpy ass. :)

Too lazy to post article but Isola says LeBron to NY is pretty much over. Says Knicks are looking at backup plans now.

At the end, the piling on and inappropriate comments by some members of the national media is going to look foolish and classless, especially if LBJ signs with the Knicks. It would be an interesting next chapter would be all of these folks inevitable spin if LBJ is a Knick. Will some of the media turn and run to the NYK side? Would The Knicks become one of the most hated teams in the NBA?

You have to at least give a link.

I'm scouring the web, can't find any article from Isola saying that.

Uh, it's on the Daily News website.

Amar'e Stoudemire appears to be headed to New York but the All-Star power forward shouldn't count on LeBron James being his teammate.

Although James is not expected to make a decision on his future until Monday at the earliest, a Knicks source described the team's chances of signing the NBA's biggest free agent as "doubtful, very doubtful." In fact, several league executives believe that the Knicks' apparent failure to lure James to New York led to their decision to offer Stoudemire a five-year, $96 million contract after the five-time All-Star turned down a similar deal from Phoenix that was not fully guaranteed. "(It) wreaks of desperation," said one league executive. "They know they have to do something."

Possibly losing out on James is a crushing blow to the franchise that has suffered through nine straight losing seasons and sacrificed the last two years to clear salary-cap space in order to make a serious play for James. Stoudemire would soften the blow a little since he is one of the top free agents on the market, and the Knicks still have enough cap space to add another elite player either through a free agent signing and/or a trade.

No one from James' camp has commented publicly since James met with the Nets, Knicks, Heat and Clippers over the past two days in Cleveland. The Knicks made a two-hour-plus presentation on Thursday, the first day of free agency, and according to a source, James was not nearly as impressed with the Knicks as he was with the Nets, whose traveling party featured the rapper Jay-Z and billionaire Russian owner Mikhail Prokhorov. "That's not how the presentation felt to me when I was in it," Knicks president Donnie Walsh said. "No one connected with his camp said that."

The most likely scenario has James re-signing with Cleveland for three years, which for the Knicks is the best alternative to losing him. The Knicks' doomsday scenario would be for James to join the Nets, who are expected to move to Brooklyn for the 2012-13 season. James has other options as well. The possibility of James joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh still exists, and Friday Wade had a second meeting with the Bulls and is contemplating signing with his hometown team with the understanding that James will also come to Chicago. The Bulls and Cavs are meeting with James Saturday in Cleveland. The Knicks were in contact with James' business manager Maverick Carter Friday and are not giving up hope until the reigning two-time MVP announces his plans.

I'm guessing this is the article he's referring to:

Thanks guys.

Anyway, this article does not diminish my feelings on the situation in any way. If he goes back to Cleveland, then he probably was never leaving them. If he leaves, then he is coming here.

whoops, posted at the same time. still, it's still anonymous sources, although this one seems to be coming from "inside the knicks organization". I don't agree with the "other league executives" though- if anything, signing amare should make us more attractive to lebron. he fills an obvious hole we had in our roster (center) and gives him a teammate that is better than anyone currently on any of the other suitors.

Yea, I don't put too much stock into random sources. If Donnie says there is no indication we are out of it, then I'll take his word over an anonymous source.

Cognitive dissonance? Perhaps, but we have seen too many "sources" over the last 2 months to care now.
