OT Clev Clowns NY in a animated video to Lebron

In an animated video the Cavaliers showed LeBron James in their meeting Saturday, everything from Pat Riley's hair to James Dolan's reputation as a heavy-handed owner was parodied.
In one scene, an owner named James Colan continuously chides a general manager named Denny Welsh for speaking out of turn.
"Be quiet," the character repeats, "you're not authorized to speak."
The animated features has James walking through his own life, running into billionaire Warren Buffett who tells James that he made his fortune in Omaha, not New York or Los Angeles.
The Buffett character tells James: "You don't choose home, home chooses you."
The story ends with a 75-year-old James telling the young James of present day: "You've always made the right choices and this time will be no different."
The cost to make the feature was $300,000.

Cleveland is one of the crappiest cities in the country. The Cavs have always been a third rate franchise before LeBron, so no one should be very offended by this.

We got Gandolfini and Falco doing a final Sopranos scene, Trump, Spike and Reggie.
Cleveland's got a cartoon "in the style of Family Guy."
That about it sums it up.

Funny how they have to chide our relevancy to establish themselves...
also of note...no bulls mentioned in the article...an oversight? a signal that he has no interest of going there? or am I on my 1,000 hour of the LeBron watch getting up after a night of drinking and am completely delerious????

Last one. Same thing here, I even refreshed RGM a couple of times while I was at a bar last night just to make sure nothign major happened.

I for one like the fact that our organization didn't try to bad mouth any other org. or city. Of course I wasn't there, so I don't know for sure, but from the reports it seems we were classy.
Pointing out possible earnings potential scenarios and showing statisitcal models to me isn't an attack on any other team or city, and I belive that was the basis of our presentation.
Teams that need to stoop to these levels to me appear desperate. I wouldn't be surprised if this didn't have a positive impact on LBJ.

LOL. Cleveland absolutely sucks. I swear that franchise doesn't deserve Lebron at all. In fact they should build him a statue for remaining there after his rookie contract because no one else would have done that.

If it was only the org., no need to get on them about their city. If they made fun of the city, then its fair game.

If anything they should have done a parody of the Cleveland Show.

But seriously, I would doubt that Fox Entertainment who Family Guy was created for and who is owned in part by Barry Diller, whose various interests in NY would stand to prosper if James came to town would be ok with it for just $300k.

LeBron's not going to turn down the Knicks because someone said our owner is overbearing or heavy handed or whatever. His bank account and willingness to write checks is overwhelming too.
Them targeting us is a good sign IMO.

It's a clear sign of desperation when you attack your opponents instead instead of selling yourself. That's like saying "Oh yeah, your breath stinks!" when you have a political debate. Pathetic.
