Report: Bosh lukewarm in Cleveland

Ken Berger of CBSSports.com cites a source saying that Chris Bosh "wants to play with LeBron if LeBron leaves, but not necessarily in Cleveland."

If true, this would somewhat deflate an earlier report indicating that the Raptors have considered a sign-and-trade of Bosh to Cleveland. The more likely scenario, according to Berger's sources, would be Bosh attempting to join LeBron in New Jersey, Chicago or Miami.

So this was Cleveland master plan? Strip all of the depth from their roster, too... This should work in our (knicks) favor.

Bosh has better options than Cleveland. I do not see him going there.

this man wants 6/125

if he wanted 5/100 he wouldve been in miami or CHC already. Take that to the bank.
There is no other reason for him to be running around doing all this.

Miami has no pieces to s&t
CHC refuses to give up Noah
CLE has nothing to offer TOR

Bosh couldve GONE ANYWHERE he wanted for 5/100. If he wanted to team up with LeBron so badly he couldve signed here outright. That's the thing.

The writing is on the wall....I couldn't see Toronto taking back Cleveland's garbage anyway. They are better off dealing with Houston, Chicago, or Miami.

Bosh is better off signing straight up for Chicago. they can then chase a 2nd tier SG with the remainder of the money. Better chance at winning for him there IMO than a stripped down Cavs with LBJ. Not even factoring in that Chicago blows cleveland out of the water as a city

Bosh wants 6 years but I think he would settle on 5 years. Problem is that him and Wade are waiting for LeBron to frigging sign already. Wade and Bosh want to go to the best place possible to win based on what James does.

So Bosh wants to join LBJ in Chi, Miami or NJ now. interesting. Where was he on NY a few days ago since we had a S&T with Lee basically set?

BS and speculation, all of it.

Bosh wants a pay day. Winning is secondary.

From the start he said that he wanted to be "the man" in free agency. He was nobody's pippen. etc.

well he can be the man in Houston then. Or trade him to the lakers. I dont care. LBJ and Bosh are missing their window, if it was ever intended.

in fact LBJ is kinda screwing himself here as FAs sign and are taken off the plate.

Wade might come to NY at this point and LBJ might be watching with his world wide wes HorseShart in his ear

Maybe it's not lukewarm but cold....

LeBron James may return to the Cavaliers, but Chris Bosh doesn’t want to go with him.

The Raptors and Cavaliers have worked out a deal that would send Bosh to Cleveland, but the power forward is not interested in playing there, according to an ESPN.com report. The Cavaliers appear the favorite to bring back their favorite son, but James has been unable to convince Bosh to join him.

The report states, “Both James and Bosh are aware that such a trade is possible, and James has tried to recruit Bosh to the Cavaliers several times in the past few weeks, according to sources.

"But right now, Bosh remains cold to the idea of playing in Cleveland.”

If James cannot convince Bosh, it’s uncertain how this would affect a potential return to the Cavaliers. The Knicks already have a big man in place with Amar’e Stoudemire, so that may help their cause with James.

Stoudemire said he would do his best to try to recruit James to New York.

Bosh is determined to work out a sign-and-trade with the Raptors, so he can earn the maximum amount of money. The Nets are still in play for Bosh, along with the Heat, Bulls and Rockets.

Interesting idea. I don't know if anybody thought about Bosh going to Chicago without LeBron. That would be a good team. Well, I mean, people have thought about it for a while. But since LeBron to the Bulls exploded as a story, it's almost as if this possibility melted away forever.

I believe there were reports that Toronto wanted Noah as part of a Bosh S&T and Chicago didn't want to do that. Perhaps circumstances are different now. Rose/Miller/Deng/Bosh/Noah is a pretty good starting five. -Jitpal

They running game. A report a few days ago had wade and james upset with bosh. I think there is something to that. This is setting up the finger. James can slip out the back door and the finger can be pointed at Bosh.

Same may go for MIA.

The HOU and Bosh rumors have been hanging around for a long time. That usually means there is something to it.

They running media game.

bosh isn't taking the hard route to a championship. he's taking the easy route, which is to piggyback wade or lebron

When I stated that LBJ would rather play with Bosh than amare some people on this board ( even a mod) stated otherwise...

I've always stated bosh is the better overall player than Amare

i think the raptors would rather let bosh walk than to accept a pile of crap from cleveland and decrease their roster flexibility.
