Why the hell would Melo sign an extension with the Nets. They're worse then the Nuggets. They won't be competitive for another 2 maybe 3 years. We're ready to compete now. This whole thing is a joke.

Its quotes like Dumbroussard's "Dumbest move ever in the NBA" which puts pressure on athletes so they won't go with their hearts, but will go with the money and peer pressure put on them.

However, I must say, Queen james proved that theory wrong as he took less money to play with "so- called friends" and a real chance at a chapionship!

I just can't see Melo not only being traded, but signing the extention, especially with C. Billips not wanting to be traded and Melo sorry for getting him mixed up in all of this.

Could you imagine if the Nets gutted their team for Melo only to have him turn around, refuse an extension, and sign with the Knicks this summer?

Or are you implying that AR's value has dropped too far, because of the way he's played?

Donnie is not trading Anthony Randolph for a pick unless that is all going down at the same time. How stupid would we look if we traded AR for a pick and Denver comes back and says they want more. I am just glad that we are not the team that's looking stupid right now. This trade for New Jersey would be like an Isiah trade. I am also glad that our owner allows the GM to do his job and not interfere because Isiah claimed that's why he made some of those trades because Jim wanted it done.
