Be it the Sacramento Kings, Las Vegas Kings or Dubai Kings, the reality of the matter is that the Kings, like the Wizards are a talented but dysfunctional team filled with nice individual talents (centered around their duo of Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins). With what appears to be a decision reached to remain in Sacramento, the Kings can now move onto other pressing matters. Among them...who to select in the 2011 NBA Draft.

With the 7th Pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select...

KEMBA WALKER, PG, UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT

I'm gonna go with burks.

I'm seeing a surprising Kemba fall (meaning so team later in the draft will be extremely giddy)...

Kawhi Leonard is a terrific player and would be a perfect fit for the Kings between offense heavy Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins...so he's my pick here.

I'm going with Kemba.

Kemba and Evans is a great match...let Evans handle sometimes and let Kemba play off the ball or you can switch it up and go the other way. On defense, Kemba guards point guards and Evans shooting guards.

If not Kemba then it's gonna be Kawhi...

Kings have taken so many forwards in the draft...Hawes, Thompson, Cousins.

Kings need a PG and while Kemba may not be the prototypical one, he can bring quickness to the floor and can have his bursts.

Oh and he's kinda popular which woulden't hurt the Kings whether they move to Anaheim or stay in Sacramento.

Kemba is my pick here.

Evans - Walker backcourt would put people in the seats.

They're set at guard IMO. Marcus Thornton was lighting it up in the second half of the year once they got him and Tyreke has the skills to develop into a good PG. Beno Udrih can backup both SG and PG. Have to go Kawhi Leonard here.

Gotta go Kemba, he can emerge as pg while evans or thornton can play 6th man, 3 guard rotation

leonard here... I'll bet anyone anything 4-5-6 don't go the way it looks on this thread.

Leonard makes so much sense for the Kings, I see kemba going to the pistons imo

Kemba is not going to the Pistons. The Front Office has made it clear they want to go big in the lottery. The only point I can see them taking is if Knight somehow drops.

Kings take Kemba. I see Udrih being traded later in the draft for a late first.

Leonard makes more sense, but if Kemba falls to them, I don't see how they pass on him.

Sacramento get a steal here with Kemba Walker.

Talent level ius just too high to pass on, they pick Kemba and they like it.

Leonard is the pick here. It sounds good but honestly, do you see Kemba meshing with Reke?
I think they go with the intangible/defensive/athletic guy here. Those are elements they lack on their roster. Kemba needs the ball to be effective. Leonard doesn't. I wouldn't be surprised if they reached for Chris Singleton here to. He is the best and most versatile defender in this draft but I'd opt for the more offensively dynamic Kawhi Leonard here.

I thin kawhi is the pick here. A legit SF. Getting another ball dominant guard is not the play for the kings...maybe trade down and let some who wants kemba to pick him but Kemba and Evans backcourt would be brutal...ball dominant and no shooting as both are less effective off the ball.

I am going to go with the dark horse in Biyombo to replace Dalembert in the rotation.

They have so many Gs already that I don't think Kemba is a good pick for them. I am not even that high on Kemba. He could be pretty similar to Marcus Thorton.
