Rumor: Amar'e & Melo at odds over '12 personnel

The latest out of Gotham suggests that Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony are at odds because Carmelo wants Chris Paul in New York, while Amar'e wants Dwight Howard. Amar'e believes that Steve Nash will come play for the veteran's minimum if it meant he got to toss the ball to Melo, Stat, or Dwight. While Knicks fans obviously drool at the thought, here's the question:
How the hell would the rest of the league compete against THAT?

In all seriousness though, is there a real source reporting this, or just some guy with a blog, which is the same thing as a poster on this forum saying it.

If you told me 2 years ago that a major Knicks concern is whether the Knicks should sign Paul like Melo says or Dwight and Nash like Amare says

Good thing Amar'e could beat up Melo and get his plan done. Nash throwing lobs to Howard and Amare while Melo hits open jumpshots is unbeatable.

Not really, I always said I'd be down if we got a real PG to sort the whole mess out.
Nash would be the more important acquisition of the two.

I don't think Dwight is coming, but that would be an all-time great team. We would be....unstoppable.

It's a good problem to have and I doubt it's that much of an issue even if they have differing opinions.
Although I don't think there will be enough room to get Howard unless he accepts less than his max. There might not even be enough room for Paul at his max but I think he'd take less than it to come to NY where I doubt Howard would.

With Dwight, Amar'e, Melo and Nash on the team the Knicks could fill out the roster with RealGM posters and still win a chip or two.
