Phoenix will take Stoudemire back. It's the coach not Amare. Amare will be there when it matters. NYK fans don't deserve him. "he's bad anyways" yeah ok, take him away from your team then. I try to read this forum from time to time and it's all Amare hate first before Melo. It's the coach and the fact that you don't have one decent PG playing.

Offense still uncomfortable for stat...hes not as good as an iso player as melo is. He's a great finisher with a midrange shot. Great hands and when he's given the ball in motion throughout a gm...he can be dominant.

Not just D'Antoni. Amare needs to grow a pair and demand the ball.
Him and Melo are co-captains. Amare plays like he's the third wheel. Tell your teammates you need the ball in the post. Don't worry about hurting Melo's feelings either.

When he touched the ball it seemed to be in terrible spots. > 20 ft out... Why not pass it too him closer, make some spacing, or do simple pick and rolls.

Pick n rolls dont work because
1. no pg
2. defense always collapses on him
3. our guards don't force help defense to where the defense gets out of position

Amare is open even when he's not on the PNR, he has great hands and moves well without the ball. Unfortunately, everyone on the team can't see that split second opening to pass it to him in traffic (Like a Nash or Davis can see).
It is just safer to pick and pop, there's no one on the team that can be trusted with a true skill in the passing game on the entire team.
