I can't wait to see Kobe yelling at Howard when he starts acting like a clown. Howard is a great player but he has that annoying clownish personality, like a giant Nate Robinson. And you know Kobe won't out up with that BS.
And before everyone decides to lay down like a cheap whore and just give the Lakers the next three rings, let's see how Kobe and Howard mesh. We're still trying to mesh Melo and Stat. It's not easy blending an elite big and scoring guard.

You have a team in each conference that is way better than the rest for the next few years. Everyone else is an underdog and so those rebuilding teams couldn't have had a better timing.
Teams like OKC have a shot but if the Lakers and Mia are healthy, I don't like OKC's chances.

Honestly. The Lakers did good. I am laughing at people who are fronting like the lakers are old so they have a small window to win. before they had howard NOBODY said they were old and now all of a sudden they get howard and now the lakers are old. get real

I haven't been reading this thread but I will say this: what more proof do you need that organizations win championships not players? Behind every dynasty is a terrific G.M., a series of well played moves, and a coach who gets all the talent to fit together. Half the reason I hated the Melo trade was that it reeked of Dolan stepping over Walsh and in doing so ruining our chance of building that brain trust that we so desperately need.
