I started watching the NBA again in 2009 during the playoffs, and I have been sick of the Lakers since.

I'm more sick of the other GM's that keep bending over for the Lakers. Seriously, let's just replace the NBA logo with the Lakers logo.

LA's been abusing the league long before Kupchak. There must be a hidden clause in the CBA or something that says "Priority #1: must help the Lakers win championships".

And I'm not salty. I'm just sick of seeing the same teams in contention.

If you really want to cry remember this, the Lakers could have also had Chris Paul if Stern/NBA hadn't stepped in last summer.

it isn't the lakers' fault players want to join their team because of their past achievements. if the knicks could guarantee a chance to win a championship every year they would be in the same position as the lakers.

I cannot wait to watch Heat vs Lakers in the Finals for the next 3 or 4 seasons.

I'm very close to giving up on the NBA completely.

They often had the best offers on the table. That trade exception they got Nash for really wasn't small. Trading Bynum and a first also is a really valuable package. Ater all, he's the best offensive center in the league. It is Orlando's fault not to take him.

It's called great ownership and management.

Let's stop dissing the Lakers for pulling stuff off and focus on the Knicks awful ownership for not being able to make the right moves to attract players here.

it is because they have established a winning culture. whereas NY has not. NY keeps repeating myths like "NY endorsements" even though the top earning athletes of endorsements none of them play for a NY team or live in NY.

It's the way the league operates, if u enjoy basketball then watch the NBA but don't expect your team to win a championship if u aren't the top 5 teams in the league. If u want sports parity then watch any other leagues especially NFL. The system is rigged until they fix it.
