We are gonna compare serious business when a job is on the line to a bat email? Some of you guys just take this to serious.

I didn't disrespect the guy, I just said it wasn't a good deal on my part. Email or not this is a thread to talk about all bat info, do you have a thread for work? No I don't see how that is the same thing.

How is this a good trade?

Jonas Valanciunas, Bradley Beal, Tristan Thompason for Dwight Howard, Antawn Jamison and 238?

You couldn't even throw in Anthony Davis. They are high potential players, but come on they are role players at this point.

Yes a starter can be a role player not just bench players.

In reply to blueninjargm@gmail.com via email.

Not by my phone.

My man i compared it to business as an example. Of course this isn't the same, but it just similar way of going about email. It's a respect thing. If you don't like the deal say "no don't like deal, can't respond at this time in full length" that simple. No need to display his offer to you. No ones gonna want to deal with you if they know that your going to just put everything in private convo in the public thread. No one is taking this that serious. Your just breaking unwritten code that most people that have done this know by now.

I honestly don't see the big deal cause I've seen SEVERAL proposals by GM's made in the actual BaT thread, some usually respond, some say "email me" which means they don't wanna tip their hand, and some go to tinychat and discuss trades and name drop like a mofo (I stay away from tinychat for that reason).

W/ that said, I don't post email proposals but nearly did when 2 GM's got "slick-mouthed" about proposals because they couldn't get the upper hand in them, especially considering how sh*tty their proposals were to me.

Quite funny actually.

What your saying is opposite of what happen. Dealing out in the open is fine. But posting an email that someone sent you in private isn't cool.

Wait so you have the full email he sent to me? It was way more then just a offer so chill out its not that serious at all, you have no idea what he sent me. No I'm not gonna post it that would be breaking unwritten rules, but replying to him in a bat thread respectfully is a big deal? Give me a break please.

Fam did you or did you not put the main part of the email in your post (The Offer). If he wanted you to put that out he would have just hit you up here. I'm just gonna leave this alone. I'm not the only person that would have called you out on this.

True, I honestly have no clue what happened but I do know this, as "the new guy" taking over a team but since this draft has started I've seen guys make suspect trades when clearly there were "better" deals on the table to them (which I've seen alot of GM's participating in this BaT complain about) and I've seen some ridiculous trades and proposals and all I gotta say is at the end of the day, if that's how said GM chooses to run their team then there isn't much anyone can do about it.

It's really up to a GM to deal w/ another GM so to bottomline it all:

If a GM someone doesn't like or respect has a player a GM REALLY really wants, then said GM will try to find a way to make it happen, find an alternative solution (3way deal) or just stand pat. If you don't wanna deal w/ a certain GM, you don't truly have to.

Simple as that truthfully...imho.

"Fam" if it makes you or anyone else feel better this is the email I just sent him, I'm sorry for putting that in bat if you felt any disrespect I apologize.

Putting are going over board for no reason, its funny because the team owner didn't even get mad, but others are buthurt like I gave away info to bin laden come on man.

Thoughts on Harrington as my 6th or 7th man? He will play both F positions, most of his mins will come at PF.

I needed a F who can play heavy mins since Duncan will only play 28-30 mpg tops. Need to keep him rested/healthy.
