If we were in the Western conference, what seed would we have?

I have us 2nd behind OKC. I think with Dwight out for the first month or two, the Lakers would play .500 ball. Nash may be one of the best PGs ever and he's still balling at his age, but meshing him and Kobe would be tricky, and the Lakers' success still depends largely on Kobe imo. I think a healthy group of CP3, Blake and Butler would make the Clips top 4.

So almost every here projects the Knicks to be seed 3-4 in the east. N I got us 2 in the west lol

No way in hell you have those concerns about the Lakers yet rank us ahead of them in the West. I love our team but we have big issues ourselves, maybe even more than the Lakers. At least they have the best center in the league along with the best inefficient chucker in the league (Melo a hot second ).

Rockets? GM is openly tanking and there are some thinking they will make the playoffs? LOL.

At best the Rockets will be a 30 win team in the west.

Omer Asik is still unproven, they lost Scola. And Jeremy Lin and Kevin martin are their only true offensive weapons. They have a bunch of rookies also.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rockets won as many games this season as the Knicks. They have more talent and way more upside than last season and they finished the season only 2 games behind the Knicks. This season the Rockets have a more talented "Linsanity" type line up. I think Kevin Martin has a bounceback year this year, filling the role as a more talented Fields, they have another good shooter in Parsons, and Asik is the defensive anchor the team needs. A lot depends on the younger players and they need at least one to break out. I honestly believe the Rockets got better this season and the Knicks got worse.

30 win? More like 13. Morey is not interested in a 30 win team. They will ship out Martin by deadline for the best offer. They are openly tanking. I don't know why people don't get that.

5th or 6th. Clippers & Spurs are better than us.

Just because they got rid of their low upside players and have a bunch of young guys doesn't mean they are tanking. They already have the Raptors' pick for hope in the draft and have a ton of talented young players to develop.

Morey would trade almost every player on that roster today if he could get his hands on a real star. There is no real belief or expectation in Houston to make the playoffs. Everyone, both inside and outside the front office is expecting a lotto team.

Well of course he wants a superstar. Houston couldn't be a legit contender for anything without one. But I still think this team has the potential to make the playoffs. Just because some so called experts expect them to suck doesn't make it so, and I'm not sure why people keep saying people inside the front office don't think they will make the playoffs. Where is your evidence for that?

There is no way in hell the Rockets will make the playoffs. The fact that they amnesty'd Scola should give you a pretty good idea of what they're trying to do this season.
