Out of curiosity, who went with the flattop first, Iman Shumpert or Norris Cole?

EDIT: Thanks for the answers, everyone. I hardly pay attention to other NBA teams other than the Knicks.

Shumpert had it in the beginning of the year last year I think when he was injured. But cole did have it in college.

I actually enjoy it. Reminds me of the late 80's/early 90's ball players. Ewing rocked a tight flat top. Kenny Walker had a fly one. Remember J.R Reid from UNC (played for the Knicks)? His flat top was off the meat wrack. Oakley sported the flat top as a young Knick. Detlef Schrempf sported one. Iman Shumpert? His is old school forreal.

Shpati21, in order to judge a flat top off of only pictures... You need to post multiple angles. You can not judge a flat top without seeing the fade in the back, the slashes on the sides, the topness of the front

They both suck until one of them gets the juice part down the middle.

It doesnt look good on either so who cares.

Why do some many people hate the flattop on here? It was dope in the 90's and it's still dope. And to answer your question I gotta give it Cole.

Shump's definitely looks higher, which is crazy considering Cole had his for a longer period of time. That's one of those looks where if you're gonna rock it, might as well go "kid from kid & play" high.

Lol i think the more compact ones look better but if your gonna go for shock value/flashyness go high. Prob the old school player with the tightest flat top in my opinion was Armen "the hammer" Gilliam. R.I.P
