Houston's showing a willingness to move rookie Terrence Jones for a 1st-round pick, sources tell Y! Rockets are deep at forward spot.

I think this kid is gonna be a player.
In theory, he could be the perfect forward to slot next to Melo as we move into the future.
I know we can't trade this year's pick but if there's a way, I'd love for us to get our hands on this kid.

We should go after Henderson and Sessions in a package using Shumpert, if Charlotte has any interest. Those two guys would be huge additions to our title aspirations IMO.

Unfortunately we have no 2nd round picks.

2013 second round draft pick to Washington
New York's own 2013 2nd round pick to Washington. [Dallas - New York - Washington, 12/10/2011]

2014 second round draft pick to Houston
New York's own 2014 2nd round pick to Houston. [Houston-New York, 7/11/2012]

2015 second round draft pick to Houston
New York's own 2015 2nd round pick to Houston. [Houston-New York, 7/11/2012]

2016 second round draft pick to Portland
New York's own 2016 2nd round pick to Portland (Top-37 Protected in the 2016 NBA Draft). If New York's own 2016 2nd round pick is within the top 37 picks, then New York's obligations to Portland are extinguished. [New York-Portland, 7/15/2012]

This is pretty intriguing, but we'd have to throw in Novak (CHA says no) or Camby (can't afford to lose him).

But Henderson makes a lot of sense here.

Blazers want a Future 1st for Hickson. If we're going to be in deep playoff contention for the next few years, I think it would be a decent move to get him.

I'd love to use the MLE on him as well.

Even better if we dump Novak on them!

before your thread was deleted, i was posting that i like hickson, but he's not too great of a defender and he's going to look for more than MLE.

Henderson is a scorer plain and simple. Nothing else he does particularly well. Ill pass.

I could see MWP as a Knick in a day in a deal based around Novak to a third team. L.A. would look for a smaller wing like a C.J. Miles and a backup big man.

Marcus Morris and Terrance Jones for Iman Shumpert and Kurt Thomas

Can't tell if you're serious? He is known as a very good perimeter defender. He is not known as a scorer. On offense he is someone who can handle the ball and someone who is a dead eye mid range shooter.

What's the story on Ronnie Brewer? Can he still hit the corner 3?

He did at the start of the season but then he went downhill.

I suppose we'll take him. TPE for Brewer so that you guys have roster space to add Jermaine.

i agree with defense. he is known as a solid perimeter defender.

but he is definitely known as a scorer. not a shooter, but a scorer.
