Hope you enjoy it, fellas. Some good highlight plays in there, but also some plays that you'd be less likely to see anywhere. I'm down with constructive criticism, so it's all good if you wanna pick at it.
Thanks for watching.

Great vid but not feeling the music choice, something a bit more serious or epic would be awesome.

Really cool video. Great idea and well executed. And I thought the music worked well.

With all due respect ....
Gotta say I love the music choice "Move On Up" by Curtis Mayfield. One of my all time favorite artists and songs. And it captures the spirit for the overcoming of adversity and the hope for the future.
Are you familiar with who Curtis Mayfield is?

Nope, the song itself isn't bad but not something I would put in a basketball video. I like pump-up or dramatic music in basketball vids, just a personal preference.

And that is why I chose it! Fits the overcoming adversity theme nicely. One of my fave tracks of all time, too.
I don't mind people saying they don't like the song, BTW. That'll happen every time you add music to a video. S'all good!

We've seen many players in this team who got paid big and disappeared.
A lot of effort for the team. STAT is respectable. And nice video.

Great, but could do without the picture of the nasty stitched up hand.

Video could have been accompanied by Shook Ones...but I think all basketball videos should be accompanied by shook ones lol...otherwise, well done

I think maybe if you were going to edit it, I would take out a lot of the text. it kind of drags the video down.
but I really appreciate the video. it showcases amar'e's "new" game well. as productive as he was during his first season with us, I feel as though he did not have enough range. most of his points were dunks off of pick and rolls and mid range shots. the only place he could effectively isolate from was the left elbow and even then all he did was face-up where he has two options:
a.) dribble drive if given his right
b.) shoot a mid range jumper
I think his game was too dependent on his explosiveness and first step. a lot of his effectiveness came from being able to take slower centers off the dribble. it didn't seem as though it would age well.
he has shown a much more diverse arsenal this year that I think will serve him well. I remember last year that many of us pointed out that although amar'e did not have many post moves, he did have decent touch, a baby hook, and naturally good footwork. hakeem seems to have recognized that as well and incorporated those tools that amar'e already had into what he wanted amar'e to develop.
it is great that amar'e has improved his fundamentals so much in such a short period of time. I truly doubted that we would see much of a difference in his play, and I am glad to be wrong. as he gets older, I think it would serve him well to continue to move his game in this direction and continue to refine his skill set. he should work on finishing with his left hand more (although he has already shown improvement in this area this year) and he should try to improve his handle so that he can protect the ball better. I suspect that his large hands impede him somewhat in this area.

Great stuff. Hadn't seen the full footage with Hakeem yet. That dude still looks like he could light it up for about 15 minutes every now and then. So fluid. Amar'e with those post moves is practically unstoppable. I mean, what do you do
I'll chip in $20 for him to go back to Hakeem's clinic next summer.
Love the Curtis, btw. One of my alltime favorite tunes.

Is it just me or is it **** nuts that Tyson and Amare are both shooting well over 60% from the field?

About halfway through the video you mention Amare not being "idol". The correct word is "idle".
Other than that, excellent video. I particularly like the re-enactment of Amare "severing" his hand.

Nice video, thanks for the effort.
What stuck out to me was that we were REALLY trailing in all recent games early on.
p.s:I'd personally would have left the Philly highlights out...the game was so ugly I didn't want to get reminded it ever happened.

GOD DAMN IT!!!! That's ruined it for me!

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Oh well, that'll learn me to be more on my toes. Friggin' critics! (joking)

Put down the thesaurus. You are trying to hard to use "big" word and generally were cocking it up. Example - Amare didn't have a rash return this season. Rash means reckless.
Stat didn't reach a crucial low when he severed his hand. Crucial means decisive and severed means to cut off. He reached a critical low when he lacerated his hand.
I could go on...
"It's apparent that STAT's compelled to emancipate himself from the doldrums of NYK chastisement"
Seriously?

I love and appreciate all of your videos. In this one, since you're asking for feedback, I'd echo what others have said and pay more attention to the words you're using. maybe have someone help you edit. A second person can often find errors that we didn't know we were making. Also, I'd lose the whole fire extinguisher video. It's enough to mention it. I didn't think the animated clip added anything, and IMO it took away from the otherwise professional look of the entire effort.
