Separated shoulder. Huge blow for Denver. Sucks to hear this, they were the West team I was pulling for (As most of us are due to former Knicks).

As I've been saying dating back to last season, J.R Smith any day over Wilson Chandler for 6th man off the bench. Not only does Wilson Chandler struggle to stay healthy, but his contract. He's not worth that much money. When you compare J.R's contract to Wilson's, then compare their overall numbers? It's obvious as ever, that J.R Smith is the much better value for our Knicks moving forward.

not a death blow to the Knuggets, but basically everyone else needs to be more consistent game-to-game. Also, they should give that Fournier kid some burn while they're at it.

it's like the opposite scenarios. Wilson was generally healthy for NY, and now he's getting hurt in Denver.

Camby was never healthy in NY, but he played the most games with the Nuggets.

Bad news for the Nuggets, but all it means is a increase in minutes for Dre, Iggy and Gallo so I'm sure they'll be fine.

melo is out for the season?

on a serious note the nuggets have serious depth at the forward position but iggy and gallo are wildly inconsistent offensively. more pressure on lawson.

I've never once missed Wilson Chandler. I just feel that we've already replaced Wilson Chandler as our 6th man off the bench. His name is J.R Smith.

J.R Smith: 33.2 minutes, 16.8 points (.400%), 5.0 boards, 2.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.6 turnovers per game. Player Efficiency Rating of 15.76.

Chandler: 23.4 minutes, 11.9 points (.448%), 5.0 boards, 1.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.4 turnovers per game. Player Efficiency Rating of 15.80.

J.R Smith: $2,806,452.
Chandler: $5,930,415.

When in regards to the 6th man off the bench, our Knicks got a much better deal/value in J.R Smith when compared to Denver being stuck with Wilson Chandler. Who's contract only increases from here on out. Not even close to being worth it for Denver.

Wilson Chandler gets a lot of freak injuries...I remember the teeth in the forearm infection...the guy can't catch a break. I've said this a few times too, if I could bring anyone of our former players back, it'd be Wilson. That's based both on his play and fit on our roster.
