MRI Reveals Melo Has Torn Labrum

Carmelo Anthony played 12 playoff games with a partially torn left shoulder, the Daily News has learned.
An MRI of Anthony's shoulder revealed a partially torn labrum, according to a Knicks source and there is a possibility that Anthony may need surgery. The Knicks are hopeful that the injury will heal on its own and the club has told Anthony to rest for the next three to four weeks at which point he will be re-evaluated.

Honestly surprised it was just a small tear with the way he played through injury and kept getting hacked left and right.

It's obvious he wasn't playing at full strength. He was probably playing at 86% capacity.

Damn. I like many wasn't huge on the Melo trade, but he is a warrior. He deserves respect as one of the top players. When you are a star player you have to fight through things like this and he always does. Respect.
