No thanks

Let's get better players

What better players? Mozgov, Cole, Hammadi? Who are all out of our price range? I'm talking in addition to Tyler we can never have too many bigs.

Let them all say no first.

Jeffries and Barron aren't going anywhere.

Why do people keep penciling in Kmart as a PF?
At this stage in his career he is a center.
With that said for A THIRD STRING CENTER, Thabeet would make a lotta sense.
I agree that Udrih would make sense but he is one to complain if he doesn't get consistent minutes.
So with that said, I'd pass. I like Mo Williams for this squad but just like Udrih, he's gonna gripe without a major role.
I say sign either Brown (who'd be happy just to be on an NBA roster), Murry (who could have a late-in-his-career Lyndsey Hunter type role of picking up his man full court) or even Scott Machado (remember, THIRD STRING and ok with it).
Grunnie get us:
Tyler
Thabeet
Brown/Murry/Machado

Lets go to war.

I wasn't saying for right now tho that is if all options will likely fail since we have no money.

What if we're only talking about the very limited role of guarding Hibbert or Brook for 5 minutes if Tyson gets in foul trouble?

Because he is a 6'8 -6'9 PF? Who can also guard some SF's

that said I agree with

Tyler
Thabeet
Guard(Brown scores, Murry defends)

Preferred roster:

Chandler/Tyler/Barron
Bargnani/Stoudemire/Martin
Anthony/World Peace/Leslie
Shumpert/Smith/Hardaway Jr.
Felton/Prigioni/West

Rotation:

Chandler/Martin
Bargnani/Stoudemire
Anthony/World Peace
Shumpert/Smith (West or Hardaway Jr. until Smith returns)
Felton/Prigioni

Because he likely won't share the court with Tyson.
And when he's on the court with Melo, Bargs or Amare I think he'd be the designated paint protector and rim defender. He can switch which is our MO but he will be Tyson's back up.

I'm interested in exploring the market for Cole Aldrich. I think he could slip through the cracks this offseason.

I googled Cole Aldrich hits in the last week, apparently he got married and there's a blog/site mentioning him in connection with the Knicks but I don't know if it's just a suggestion or a rumour.

Is Cole ready to play though? If we sign Tyler and Leslie we cant be having another project on the team. Either hes ready to go or not.

He put up nice numbers everytime he got minutes. I don't know why he couldn't break into regular rotation with the Rockets or the Kings.
