I thought he accepted our invite in July?
Never too late, glad he'll get his chance.

That explains why there was a delay. It goes to show that it isn't always just simply the Knicks dragging their feet.

Not sure how significant this is given our PG depth. But I guess it's not a bad thing to have a young prospect competing for a spot on the team
so...

at least we know if the team's going to sign another PG, it would be Murry over Da Gawd.... at least now we won't see the latter playing on this team anytime after preseason

HELL YEAH.
Even though his role on the team in my mind has changed a bit with Udrih's aquisition, doesn't change the fact that this dude played well enough in summer league to deserve an invite.
Seems like our camp's gonna be competitive this year. Good.

Actually, it's probably almost never the Knicks just dragging their feet. Do fans think the Knicks are just lazy? Or do we still think the FO is completely incompetent, despite the vastly improved team over the last handful of years?
What it is is that many fans are absurdly impatient and have no idea about the intricacies of player movement in the NBA. It's like running any other giant company in America. Assets don't just appear out of thin air.
My stance on Toure- if you're not going to sign a big man, or you just don't think Haddadi or Whiteside or Barron would make any clear difference for the team, sign this kid and let him get in where he fits in along the way. Over Chris Smith, Rip Hamilton or anyone else. Toure is young, long, plays D and can run the point. Nothing to scoff at if you're the Knicks and want to have some left over pieces in 2015.

Yes, I do agree with you my man. Even though it would be nice to have another big body around to bang with the Roy Hibbert's of the world. Toure is my main man and I want him on the team just because of his tenacity and his willingness to pick up full court. Any time Clyde says a player is playing similar defense to what he use to then we must take a deeper look into that. Good job Grunwald!

I like his game, if he wants to be successful in this league he has to improve his PG skills cause he just ain't a PG right now. We can still cut Leslie for a bigman or w/e.

As for as I'm concerned we should sign him out right and be done with free agency

Amen. Love the tenacity, and there's clearly some NBA talent there. During summer league, he and Jeremy Tyler were just a notch or two or three above everyone else.
You know Toure personally?
