Everything is the same with them. Atleast Dantoni got desperate and used his bench. Woodson plays the same scrubs over and over!

Big difference:

D'antoni had some pride and QUIT! What about you Woodson?

Not a single one of you listened to me when I said that Woodson wasn't some savior. Not a single one.

We've learned a valuable lesson here: It's stupid to put the struggles of a team all on one person.

Dolan, Woodson, JR. Is it enough?

D'Antoni never played Smith over 30 minutes so I'll give him that. In fact he averaged about 20 a night which is about right for a low IQ heat check guy.

This.

I actually respected Mike for doing that.

Look at what D'antoni has been able to do with that absolute trash Lakers roster versus what Woodson is doing with the Knicks.

The results speak for themselves. Ball don't lie.

If Dantoni lost 10 in a row he'd dig deep and use Murray and Aldrich. He'd bench jr and hurt his feelings but atleast he'd try something different

Kind of scary to think our defense was never this bad under D'Antoni. That doesn't even seem possible.

Our defense was actually very good under D'Antoni at some points.

And that would have been more a reflection of the collective will of the players at any given time more than that coach's directions.

And when that will was there, they may have looked better simply playing man defense and sticking to their assignments. Now we switch on everything because well you know like that's um what we do.

A couple of seasons ago, if MDA, Mike Woodson, and the players put their differences aside, they could have had a good thing going for at least 2 seasons to come. They ruined everything.

I think Woodsons problems may have started with the pressure of Carmelo's re-signing, somewhere along the line this organization made re-signing Carmelo a priority over winning, he lost his ability to hold Carmelo accountable.

D'antoni never wanted Carmelo and at then end of his tenure he too was unable to hold Carmelo accountable, cause he was at the end of his contract.

When the rest of the team sees that the coach has no power, subconciously every one loses a bit of respect.

Hollins might be a great choice because he has no qualms about telling a star player where his place his (see: Allen iverson)--- it just might be a catch 22 with him because Dolan wants people he can control.

MDA needs complete control of implementing his system in order for him to be a good coach (because he's TERRIBLE in game). If MDA can get his players playing in his system though, his teams can be BIG overachievers (Lakers this year, some of the Suns teams). If he can''t get the players playing his system though, he's a wreck. Complete wreck. He also plays his rotational players way too many minutes.

Woodson is an aight game managing coach, not terrible like MDA. Offensive sets suck. Defensive sets are supposed to be his strengths... but... uh.

MDA if his team is actually playing in the flow of his system is a better coach than Woodson by far. Woodson is better if MDA's team is forsaking his system. Both coaches don't belong with this team.

I almost teared up thinking about the possibilities. Give me Dantoni 10/10 over Woodson. Woodson's face pisses me off and the his plays want me to punch a new born kitten.

Why do the basketball gods hate us?

Lol. Longing for D'Antoni, are we?

I'll go one further. Knicks should have given Larry Brown full control.
