GONYK Game Notes: A Fitting End

This game, for a while, was basically like our entire season. Got off to a bad start and into a deep hole early. We made a furious run that gave everyone hope, only to look like we'd fall short in the end. But, led by JR (30/4) guys dug in, made plays, and turned in our biggest comeback of the season to cap it all off.

It was good to see some fortitude in a game that ultimately meant nothing to us. The young guys showed some heart, and Cole straight killed it (13/16/5). This is also a glimpse of what we might look like next season, so it was interesting in that regard.

Farewell 2013/14 Season.

The Phil Jackson era begins in earnest now.
