We still have our 2015 pick (which obviously will be a lottery pick if we lose Melo). And my plan is the S&T with Chicago and get as many assets as we can and send out JR Smith for extra cap space.

At this point, we will have a ton of a cap room for the off-season, a lottery pick (hopefully top 5), and another good pick (and Sac's pick could be 11-15 or pushed to next season). Plus we can get the Bulls pick in 2015 or 2016. I prefer 2015 because it can be swapped (although protected) with the Cavs pick.

THJ
Early
Greek Freak
MCD
Mirotic
Larkin
Tyler
Shump (who may not come back to clear cap space for two max contracts)
2015 lottery pick
2015 Sac pick
2015 pick (swap eligible)

I am not saying we are going to win a title over night, but with Phil now able to build the team in his vision, I am more than okay with going this route. Yes, it sucks we lost the 2016 pick, but I am not about to compound the problem.

Melo at his max, with his raises, at his age, with his shoulders, with THIS team, just isn't going to win a title. If Phil has some tricks up his sleeves and gets the Gasols, along with other key players, then that is a different story.

And I shouldn't have used the word sh*t, but you did say "not in the least". So to me, that means you don't even think that is close to being anything decent.
