Melo is fine, who do you think in driving the tank?

The team needs an all world big man...it's easier to draft one than to sign one.

Melo is on board with the tank, he's had several calls with Kobe, and watched the Lakers draft their big who helped them win titles before his knees threw up the deuces.

Draft the big, sign some better role players....enjoy a better matched fight.

Until then.....embrace it.

Melo isn't waiting around for 4 years to let some Andrew Bynum develop

He really has no choice, when he chose the dollars, he chose to wait.

Phil didn't though. Phil isn't spending 4 years waiting on some Bynum when he's only here for 5.

If we tank hard enough to get Okafor we can even afford Kobe at deadline

Tank because we're 2-4? Can someone who watched the game tonight give an actual evaluation of why carmelo shot 5-20? Is he visibly hurt in anyway, or is it just our yet again complete lack of PG play?

Idk about that fam, I do think his eyes are set a few years away. He wont admit to deliberate tanking, but he knows this squad is nowhere near competing which in essence is tanking.

Even using Bynum, Bynum was starting decently in year 2, dominant by year 3....I wouldnt be so sure Phil isnt willing to take that risk at the expense of this season. the cap space is always there until he spends it.

I think this season is a placeholder regardless.

I'm just saying that I don't think Phil is choosing a rookie over a proven vet at the same position if given the choice.

No PG play. To Carmelo the offense is the same. Try to score off isolations.

It's mostly because we don't have a PG, but Melo is also missing shots he normally hits.
