Can't decide. Think im going to purchase one soon. Played Xbox my whole life. Two of my friends and cousin have Ps$ so that can sway plus its gotten much better reviews. I love Halo and Forza which is why im thinking of the One.

Thoughts?

Got the PS4 on Black Friday and started playing Last of Us last night... Needless to say, Im happy with my purchase.

I think it all comes down to whether you like to play with your friends and what console they're all using. I played Xbox 360 but it seems like everyone is getting the PS4 so that's probably what I'll get. It sucks to give up Halo but I sucked at it anyway.

Ive been a playstation guy my whole life so id say PS4. There aren't really too many differences between the two though so id say just go with the one that the people close to you have so that u can play online with them or when they come over they can bring their games and controllers so you guys can play together. It sucks when u only have one controller and your friends have controllers for a different system.

i saw a nice black Friday bundle for the ps4 came with GTA5 and last of us for $400 not sure you can still get it

I bought a PS4 because I was bored of my PS3. And im still bored. Been using playstation sense they stopped making sega games.

Im blaming it on my 720p plasma right now, as to why ps4 didnt blow me away the same way ps3 did after having ps2.

I probably should have went for the xbox just to try something totally different. Maybe that would have stimulate me more. Im just bored with playing video games on my playstations.

PS4. I have both and the xbox seems confusing and it takes long to download game disks. Dashboard also confusing. PS4 has a bundle for 399.99 that comes with GTA V and The last of us Remastered. That is a damn good steal.

Plasma? U gotta be kidding me. Its time to upgrade. My Samsung 1080 240 is blowing me away.

I got it today $435 after taxes at best buy. Got it for my Nephew.

Yeah man. I was going to shop for and buy a TV first. But got hot off of impulse and just grabbed the ps4. Its been sitting almost a month collecting dust. Im thinking when I get a 1080p TV my interest will pick up.

The Last of Us, Uncharted series, Gran Turismo, God of War etc.

That's all you're giving up honestly. A lot of games; the best ones at that, are cross-platform. Forza's equivalent will be Gran Tourismo. I LOVED Forza though. I grew up playing the GT series but I didn't have a ps3 to play the latest one. I had RROD 3 times with my 360. I don't care for Halo much. I'm good at it but I'm more of a COD and Battlefield player than I am a Halo player. GoW was meh for me. Just not my style. Most of my friends all went to XB1 but prior experience with the poor design of the 360 that led to the multiple RRODs that they only covered once because "I was out of warranty" the last two times, pushed me away. Then they had the audacity to charge a crazy price with a then-mandatory camera. **** that ****. I'm not sweating the issue of being unable to play with fiends online because it's not hard to play with good players in a team if you're good yourself. Make new online friends or something if you have to lols. XB1 doesn't have any exclusives to keep me there, and I believe PS4's hardware is "better" and game run at a higher resolution than XB1. . I love the fact that the touchpad on the controller doubles as a speaker in games. Pretty neat concept there.

I purchased the $399 PS4 w/GTAV & TLOU. I can't stay off my PS4 now -___-. Gotta say, I'm enjoying it.

PC: Steam, GOG, Desura, Origin, Uplay

Why is that? Most people would stay it's c lose. I haven't heard anyone say XB1 is much better.

If you wanna play good games then it's the xbox one. If you want to play some japanese game or some corny indie game then it is the ps4.

If you prefer the exclusives on the playstation then i say just wait until next year, because at the moment it is dry on the ps4.

Sorry for not elaborating. My rating was purely on my experience with both systems, not an objective comparison. Thus far, I have found myself playing my XB1 at a MUCH higher rate than my PS4. Happy to elaborate a bit later though, in short, it's a bit concerning to me that the main draw of the Ps4 thus far has been games that were released last generation. Should change over time but has not as of yet
