Black Mamba with a torn rotator cuff. Not good. Not good at all.
If the Spurs beat the Bulls (and they will)...time to wonder about the "Championship contenders" from Chicago.

For a little lame scorekeeping, my belief in Bargnani came up emptier than empty, but how about Brandon Jennings. Anybody willing to give him any credit yet?

Kobe should hang it up after the season. He passed MJ. Team isn't winning any more titles with him. And he would give the team a ton of space which more make him even more beloved in LA. I get it that $$$ is important and he likes to compete a whole lot but it would be the perfect time.

Kobe might "retire" and come back.

I swear I just saw an article about Kobe and Young both recruiting players with Dragic and Rondo mentioned. He's gotta consider hanging 'em up though, but I still have trouble picturing him ending it on a down note like that.

what a pathetic season in the east
if we had built on the success of 2012-13 we could be looking at an east with no indy, no Miami, a kinda pathetic Cavs who everyone is helping get better including us, and a weak chicago
man
we could have had the east
its so open

Didn't Swaggy try to lay out Dragic? Dragic is coming here and Reggie Jackson & Monroe will be heading to LAL.

God damn huge loss.. I think they slip no lower than a possible 6th seed without him tho

- Traded a pick to get Wallace. Ended up being Lillard. 2nd best record in the West.
- Swapped a pick to take on Slow Joe which is looking like a lottery pick more and more. ATL has the best record in the conference.
- Sent 3 picks plus 2 swaps to rent Pierce for a year and have an ancient Garnett. Pierce is on a top 3 team in the East.
Billy King is really battling with Zeke for worst GM ever in NY

Is there any feasible way for them to get out of that mess? No picks. Big contracts. Unmotivated players. Owner trying to sell. what can they do to prevent (or slow) their descent into the abyss?
